Changed my alarm clock already . . . up at 4am, instead of 5 proper time, for work. Would far rather be watching F1 . . . . 4am? On a Sunday?? For bloody work (and not F1)??? I'm intrigued - what on earth needs people (or more particularly, you) to get up at that ungodly hour? Get up? You mean go to bed????!!!!

It'll be 5am . . . but 4 according to my body clock ceedee. The joys of working for a supermarket chain, even with Sunday Trading Laws - we still have to be in early to get everything set up. Yuck. I was weakly in favour of the relaxation but knew it'd come to this madness. Why the hell we couldn't restrict the Sunday hours to something sensible - like opening at 10am or something - I don't know... /heads off ranting

Which is all well and good, but it means the shops still have to be fully operational earlier - in theory 10am-4pm are Sunday trading hours, although we rarely get to close at 4pm either. I'd rather work a Saturday . . . Sunday is just wrong somehow. * Sorry jess for taking your thread OT with my moans! It's almost my bed time now, so I'll leave you in peace. *

Meanwhile in a nightclub near you...
"Fancy another pint?" "Sure, it's only 1 AM" "Shit, they stopped serving! Apparently it's 2 AM now and closing time!"

No probs, you carry on, Perpetua, but I think it must be your bed time with that early rise. Sleep sound & I hope the numpties behave tomorrow.
