Hi kittyvape I use different nic strength from 6mg up to 12mg and depending what I'm vaping it on have used 18mg even though I tend to stick with 6 or 7 now, for me Iv found the pg/vg makes a massive difference the higher pg you have the more throat hit you'll get ,the vg the smoother it is ,for me I like the vg only because pg gives me a sore throat and I do enjoy a smoother vape . But from reading what a lot of venders do they tend to put high pg in the higher nics as new vapers tend to need that strong throat hit, but not in all juices so your best trying to find out what ratio they are or have a go at mixing your own ,you might find the 24mg is high pg and its that you like so as long as you get juices with higher pg you can move down the nic if you like with no prob I'd think. I would say at the amount you smoke 18mg would be perfect though 24mg is no harm and its what suites you to keep you happy.

Thanks Perpetua Had ordered 50/50 VG/PG at first, so a lot of bottles are that, but have tried some 70/30 samples recently, in an attempt to get more flavour ... turning up the iStick 50w much higher (30w-45w) is improving flavour too. Good to experiment, and, yes, am finding have a few clearomisers with different flavours ... so much to try and to enjoy, lol. The age of your coils, taste buds still recovering from the effects of smoking . . . plus you don't know what ratio of flavouring your ready made eliquid is mixed at, will all contribute to getting a flavoursome vape, or not kittyvape. For myself I only mix VG heavy eliquid, at exactly the same flavour ratios as my PG tolerant friends - I find no difference in taste between the two blends. Thanks Perpetua Yes, have had to put the 1.2 coil in, that was in the kit, so coils seem to be lasting a week. Taste buds all over the place, lol. The 50/50 was what I was going for, but the 70/30 would definitely seem to make more sense; not sure why I went for the 50/50 in the first place now, lol. Have got VG nic, VG non-nic, and just ordered PG, so it's good to know any of that (except the non-nic isn't relevant right now) will taste good. Thanks.

Thanks so much! So far I can change a coil, and have ordered 5 new 0.5 coils; they seem to last a week. I'll definitely keep hold of them as they 'go', and very kind that someone could help. I'll get the one I chucked out of the bin and put it to one side for now. Will look into it, and come back and ask about rewicking/coiling, for sure. Also just ordered final mixing thingies, so will have my first go this week, yay.

Thanks @yavape That's great you've found what works for you, and thanks for advice. It's surreal because I'm finding the 24mg is great now, 8 days in ... hardly a tickle on my throat, lol, after initially coughing a lot on tiny 6mg cigarettes. I must be okay with the higher pg, thankfully. Maybe as my body adapts, I'll taste/feel things more. Looking forward to first mixing this coming week, so will definitely bear in mind what you've said. Thanks

Congrats on getting into mixing so early into your vaping adventure kittyvape After the initial outlay you'll find yourself saving a bundle on pre made liquids @ukflavours is where I get most things from . I'm a fussy blackcurrant concentrate person and there's is the only one that comes close to one that is sold by a firm that I don't agree with the ethics of their marketing (so won't buy from them). Nuff said. Tis my choice . I got my 1ml syringes from china through the post the other day so if you want a couple just pm me a snail address and I'll post tuesday Jane

Yes, looking forward to doing some wizardry and saving money ... nice to be able to find some core flavours to mix. I've ordered the capella double chocolate, boston cream pie and lemon meringue. The blackcurrant sounds lovely; glad you can get the one you can, and totally agree about ethics of places. I always believe in supporting ethical companies too eg bank, electricity. Those companies deserve good support, and always are reliable and positive. Very kind of you to offer about syringes. Really appreciate. Will PM now.

Really there are lots of ways to be very MSE with e-cigs but it's a lot more complex than when I started vaping 3.5 years ago kittyvapeBack then it was a simple case of 'order 3 months equipment from china for the price of one week's stinkies' - I didn't go back to the stinkies for long when I reminded myself of that (I duel fuelled for the first 3 months ) But despite all the hurdles it really helped me to get debt free

No reason for stinkies, yes Congratulations on getting debt free!
