Hiya Stopped the stinkies 2 days ago, after first starting to vape about 2 weeks ago. I'd just settled on enjoying caramel/vanilla, diluting down to about 6mg I think, after having smoked 20-25 Old Holborn previously. Suddenly, that flavour makes me feel a bit sickly (not nic od) and I've shot up to undiluted 18mg blueberry. Even that has no kick/cough/anything at all, wondering about going up to 24mg. Is this vaper's tongue, or just my body deciding what nic levels it really needs? Switching between 12mg coffee to 18mg blueberry, to try to reset palette, but nothing. Thanks, Cat

OK first well done on starting vapeing and ditching the stinkies OK what kit are you useing hun? If you were on old holbourn 20-25 a day I'd suggest 18mg minimum. Also your body will be going through a lot of changes over the next few months. It might be worth getting a few diff 18 mg liquids and also a bottle of 24 mg for when the cravings catch you. Check out joose juice or health e vape, onepoundeliquid No point buying massive bottles of 1 flavour atmo as your tastes will change as your taste buds start to recover over the next month or 2. Having a strong mint or citrus in is always good for vapers tongue and refreshing the pallet.

Thanks for advice; luckily had an 18mg mint in the box, and it really is nice ... first time have vaped it. Will stick with that for today. Looking forward to body detoxing, for sure! Definitely seems a good idea to have various strengths, to cover any fluctuations. Thanks for site recommendations too; will check them out. At the start I'd ordered some 18mg's and 24mg's, then thought I'd ordered juices too strong ... now they'll come in handy, lol.

Not a dot of 36mg in the house, but the 24mg's are looking very appetizing. When the menthol phase is done, will be chucking those in ... there's a chocolate one, so it's all good. Definitely learning that need to have all levels covered; will get there, lol, as explore this vast world.

Keeping a variety of flavours on the go has always helped me stop getting too tuned in to a flavour kittyvape . . . like fragrances, if you use the same one exclusively - then you stop smelling it on yourself. I'd maybe stick with around 18mg whilst you're still in the early stages of switching as well, rather than keep chopping & changing.

Thanks Perpetua Appreciate advice, plus am finding my taste is changing really often ... from blueberry to caramel vanilla, then quite bitter coffee to menthol. I can't smoke less than 24mg since yesterday, lol. Surreal. Maybe the TH was too high on lower nic, and now the smoother higher nic is right. Just starting to read about mixing, so that'll be the next stage.

The VG/PG ratios that you're using will also be contributing to the ' smoothness ' of your vape kittyvape . . . more so than the nicotine strength in my opinion. Perhaps check what you're 24mg is, then you'll have an idea of what suits you better. As a rule I've 6 various flavours on the go, all quite different . . . .

Hi kittyvape I would too recommend you try :- 1. Higher nic juice of around 18- 24 mg there is NO HARM in higher nicotine levels! 2. Changing flavours regularly, this helps to keep your taste buds "fresh" 3. Try a fresh coil in your atomiser, do you change yours regularly? 4. Try different PG/VG mixtures, I like 80% VG but I use some very strong flavours, PG carries flavours better. 5. Another way of getting throat hit is to use flavours containing things like cinnamon, aniseed or menthol. A few drops of Vodka in your juice can also help (I kid you not!) It's a bit of trial and error when you first start to find what best suits you, just keep at it, it does get easier (honest). Good Luck! Keep asking away.

Well done on your vaping start and congratulations! I wouldn't worry too much about differing nicotine strengths yet - I'm 18 months in and I still vape 3 or 4 different strengths from 3mg (on drippers) to 6mg when chain vaping at computer to general 10mg when out and about and have some 18mg for occasions I know I can only do a stealth vape here and there.... I'm another one who likes lots of flavours on the go, I have to swap about during the evening and get bored after a few hours of just the one. I haven't found something I would want to vape 24/7 but I have 10 I enjoy! Just try out lots (even ones you don't think are appealing) I've found - to my surprise - I like aniseed based eliquids (and I barf at the smell of pernod?) and I like coconut and caramel --- when I loathe coconut based food/drink? just goes to show!

Good to experiment, and, yes, am finding have a few clearomisers with different flavours ... so much to try and to enjoy, lol.

Thanks DiscoDes You're right; I'm really liking 24mg a lot. Amazing how tastes change each day, lol. Good to have a range, for sure. I've had this Nano for a week, and have just ordered some coils incase anything starts to change. Finding it hard to tell if it's vaper's tongue or the coil, but I am getting a lot of sasparella flavour today still. Thanks about upping PG for more flavour too. Loving mint, eg with blueberry, or just straight; very refreshing. Still to try cinnamon etc. Thanks for great advice.

Thank you Pepperty Loving vaping! Your plan sounds really good, and 10 flavours on the go makes sense. I think I've got 4 or 5, as that's how many clearomisers I have just now. Lol, yes, I don't like aniseed or coconut either. Will see about being more adventurous!

The age of your coils, taste buds still recovering from the effects of smoking . . . plus you don't know what ratio of flavouring your ready made eliquid is mixed at, will all contribute to getting a flavoursome vape, or not kittyvape. For myself I only mix VG heavy eliquid, at exactly the same flavour ratios as my PG tolerant friends - I find no difference in taste between the two blends.

kittyvape don't throw away your used Kanger atomisers. Someone on here will be able to recoil them for you when they are dead. @djs loves to help out
