Lloyds chemist do it but you need a prescription which seems a little odd..although it is only 1p.

as long as it is BP grade it should all be near as damn it the same stuff... in theory all PG should be the same stuff no matter what grade it is... Unfortunately some contains impurities... this may or may not make much difference.
The mistral stuff should be ok (but the other link is considerably cheaper for the quantity you want and would/should be equally as good)
Some nic bases can be a bit dodgy and smell funny or be a bit orange/yellow... I have had some which is pretty stinky and yellow but it vaped fine @18mg.

i thought bp just meant boot pharmacist.....as in the vg they sell
does pharma grade mean its been mixed and transported in containers that wont react badly to it and its basicly sterilised or clean?

i thought bp just meant boot pharmacist.....as in the vg they sell does pharma grade mean its been mixed and transported in containers that wont react badly to it and its basicly sterilised or clean? It means it has gone through further purification processes which then allow it to be used as a pharmaceutical product, food grade being the next step down on the ladder followed by industry grade. Personally in the case of PG (and any other chemical/compound) I find the grading system abhorrent. PG is a noun not an adjective, if it was called ''vaping fluid'' then it could contain all manner of things but PG shouldn't be anything else other than PG, what I mean is, BP grade (or pure)should be the only one which exists, IMO of course. I studied chemistry for a while, this is the only reason why this bothers me I think.

British Pharmacopoeia (BP), Is the official British reference work setting forth standards of strength and purity of medications and containing directions for their preparation to ensure that the same prescription written by different doctors and filled by different pharmacists will contain exactly the same ingredients in the same proportions. The first British Pharmacopoeia was published in 1864 by the General Medical Council; it superseded the London Pharmacopoeia, which had been published since 1618.

The same grading system applies to many other chemical reagents, as I came across when I was making biodiesel (I'd known this from years ago, and forgotten it). During the testing phase I had need of some indicator chemicals, so hied off to a lab stockist and was stunned at the cost of lab-grade reagents. It turned out the need for dead - on accuracy wasn't really required, so I was able to buy less highly-graded chems for considerably less money. The actual processing chemicals involved in the making of biodiesel, sodium hydroxide and methanol, were available in bulk and were cheap industrial grades.
In the case of PG, food grade would be more than adequate and I suspect the ebay listing showing £18 for 0.5L is for lab or BP grade.
