Load of carp that survey, have you tried only once not are you a former smoker are you a non smoker that only vapes yada yada .
Recent survey suggests people breathing air are 100% likely to die.

E-cigarettes were used by 5% of teenagers who had never smoked, 50% of former smokers and 67% of light smokers.

The link was even stronger in children who drank alcohol or whose parents smoked.

So pretty much used mostly by smokers or ex smokers except for a small minority.
Also wouldn't the fact the numbers are higher for kids whose parents smoke suggest it's smoking that is influencing these kids not vaping?

On nicotine, he said e-cigarettes were "providing a concentrated form of a highly addictive substance, with known problems associated with it, and we need to be very cautious about that and how we protect our young people

What known problems associated with nicotine?
Notice none of these people ever state what these issues are they just say there are issues.

Could it be because there are no known health issues beyond addiction, it's just a mild stimulant like caffeine and just as harmless.

It amazes me that here in the 21st century we still have people using 1930's reefer madness type propaganda to disguise puritan campaigns as health advice.

Once again, a scare story conjured up from a load of useless statistics that don't tell us anything new. I'm getting sick and tired of the crappy way that vaping is being reported; what's happened to the positive health benefits and massive reduction in smokers in the UK? That rather important point seems to have been largely forgotten amongst this rubbishy reporting which unfortunately leaves a bad taste in a reader's/listener's mind.
Surely there is something that we can collectively do to counter this blatant mis-information?

Been watching the English BBC channel this morning and when they showed the newspaper headlines on the front pages (as they do) they pointed out one with a massive bold & brash headline stating the following:

E-CIGS TIMEBOMB

Don't know which paper it was in I just caught the headline, and it went off screen before I could see what paper it was. You lot over there can find out what that is all about, I can't.

Oh, and they've also been saying that e-cigs are the alcopops of cigarettes

My best mate's two kids aged 18 and 16 have both smoked (or dabbled with it!), and he and his wife now encourage them both to vape instead of smoke. I was given some zero-nic juice a couple of weeks ago, and passed it on to them as they use this exclusively. Even the younger child, a boy, admits that he's tried 6mg juice but finds it 'too strong', and is quite happy sitting with us chatting about cars and vans while puffing away on an Evod of 0 nic.
The boy in particular was smoking around 10 rollies a day, but now prefers vaping because there are so many great flavours to try.
Surely this is not the exception, but rather the rule? My daughter has from time to time mentioned vaping as a safer alternative to tobacco to use while hanging around with her friends, but no that many of those are vaping this desire to 'conform' has diminished and she no longer mentions it; this is in part due to the fact that her boyfriend now vapes instead of smoking as a step to giving up altogether when he joins the Army later this year.
