Goblin Leakage !

sooo want to love my little Goblin, great flavour and vapour, but the little beggar keeps leaking on me.

Am guessing its all about the wicking. Ive mastered my Squape, (stuff as much cotton as is humanly possible) and sussed my Lemo, nowhere near as much, but can't figure out what the Goblin wants, could someone please enlighten me ?

is it less is more, or more is less

Wick needs to be just right in all the channels, mine leaked like a sieve first time. Check out the pics in toms great guide

thanks Greg i did follow Toms guide, but probably due to Squape paranoia, minimal amount in channelness, i haven't anywhere near enough in channels !

Will try again tomorrow.
its like looking after kids, each one with their own little foibles !!

They are good pep but like most have their quirks. The Subtank is still the atty of the year to date though for me due to its versatility and ability to open it up and rewick / recoil without emptying the tank.

I've finally sussed out my orchids, sod the bottom filling nightmare. I now just wrap an elestic band around side holes, unscrew top, fill, screw on top, invert and tighten top and then put right way up and blow through, mopping any juice in side holes.

Whoever told me that one, I could KISS!! they probably prefer I dont

I'm hoping the Goblin is samey as orchid but without the mess! Tease-smiley

Ive found the Goblin is a lot like the Erlkönigin. Too much wick in the channels, dry hits. Not enough and it will dump the tank.

Hm,no leaks here and vape like a champ. Maybe watch some videos and get a visual how much cotton you need.

Now then, I have received my pair of Goblins (heaven knows whats happened to the one I ordered weeks before?) and i'm really pleased with them, do they leak? I'm really keen to take them with me tomorrow on the train - in my case.....

Am I nuts? its just I really adore their size and I want to have some lung inhaling tanks.....

Good news Pepperty they do not leak !!!!

It certainly was me being a plank ! Trawled through you tube, thanks PinkyPuff, watched 3 different reviewers wick it 3 completely different ways, each one assuring me that theirs was the best way to do it

Tried all three, all leaked like a pig. Went back to Toms guide, with the addition of a few tips from said videos, success

the more opinions the better.

the best way is always the way that works for you.

I'm sure we all have our coils and our wicks slightly different. Theres always going to differences in the way we build, so also differences in the way that works for us.

We can always help on here but getting your hands on it and finding out what works beats any video or guide

I built mine earlier, took me 3 or 4 goes on the first one -- trying to use ready mades but my wires were too slim so I went and made up some with .32 guage and 10 wraps and they went in fine and gave me 0.7ohms

I was OK with the wicking as I went with fluffy tops and half way down channels with tails. They were even a joy to fill! I just love them in the shorter size for away on my holidays, they look shockingly small and subtle but they vape like a steam train, I adore them!

I do hope my 1st ordered one arrives as I'll be wanting three

oh, and I love them so much I've rammed them in a glasses case - upright - in my handbag they WILL be going to East Sussex with me...I do hope my vaping friend on throwaway ce4's and basic ego batteries doesnt complain when I fog her chalet out!!
