The best April Fools appears to have passed the world by : Amazon Dash. Yes, with the touch of a button on a tiny item stuck to your appliance you can reorder tons of Tide, hundreds of Huggies, or more Gillette razors than you can shave a stick at. Sounds good? Imagine your house festooned with the things, buttons all over the place that the kids can play tag with, tying you into buying the most expensive crap that you've tied into by spending your good money on a bucket of gadgets that save you from : looking on the internet or God forbid, actually going to a shop.

Edit : not a April Fool apparently, unless you're a fool who buys them. Imagine a year hence when your home is festooned with little buttons all marked with the Products YOU WILL BUY because you're too daft, instead of pressing a click, to step outside of the house and go to that old fashioned thing A Shop, or even Go Online. In 5 years we'll be automatons going to work, coming home on our Google Autocar (no driving required), hitting the buttons (which by then will be winking LOW ON TIDE! CLICK ME!, actually rubbish, they'll auto order) and receiving at our doors great boxes full of the Brands that we have been told to purchase, by then at vastly inflated prices. Whilst Mr Patel round the corner weeps when nobody comes in the door.

Meanwhile the kids play tag with the buttons and you end up with a lorry outside your house full of Tide, and no money. Int technology great?
