Hi guys, Is there a basic % that most people use for there flavours? Creams i.e (Chocolates, caramels)? Fruits ? Etc Etc. I use UK Flavours, Cup Cake World & Mount Baker Vapour for flavours. Ive heard 10% 15 % and 20 %
Also what would you recomment for steeping, i was thinking small box, airing cupboard, dark, Leave naturally, Squezze bottles daily for air, leave for 4 weeks. Does that sound about right.
Thank you for any info

Flavour % will vary from bottle to bottle vincentvega29, depending on your own taste and the strength of your concentrate. Generally, I tend to mix CCW around 25% and most others between 15% and 25%. ~It really is a case of trial and error - I mix a 5ml sample of each concentrate and take it from there once I have tasted it. My general rule of thumb for steeping is mints/menthols 1 day fruits 1 week desserts and tobaccos 1 month custard 2 months I mix, shake and put the bottle on the bookcase in the dining room and forget about them - I don't bother opening them during the steeping time, unless it's because I've got a bit impatient and I want to test it early

Overall . . . I aim for 20% of flavouring - though that depends on the concentrates. Other than that, my mixes get popped away in a kitchen cupboard, forgotten about for at least a couple of weeks, before tested. Quite frankly, I would rather stick pins in my eyes than go to the bother of squeezing air out daily . . . life is too short for such faffing.
