But big ring terminals and proper bolts not tiny self-tapper. Maybe just a tad like that! Jim

I a pretty happy with mine chykensa. I did have the voltage drop but after I rubbed the chrome of the the underside of the bottom plate the make a better connection I haven't had the problem again. I didn't do the whole rubbing the screw holes bit. I think it is a good mod (based on my experience). Nick

Bugger, wish I'd seen this earlier chykensa... we ended up taking them off sale - with a 20%+ return rate, we ended up just cutting our losses. If it's not too late for Helen to cancel the order, I would try to and get another iStick 50w. What where they being sent back for. Was it always the same issue Nick

Thanks @kopiert- if I experience problems, I may come back to you for some more assistance, but fingers crossed that it will turn out to be a good buy!

Was it always the same issue Nick Mostly, turning themselves off mid-vape, power dropping despite being fully charged and charging issues Nick. We had a few that sparked as the battery cover was screwed on. We would inwardly groan as soon as someone came up to the counter with one that had gone wrong. Every time someone wanted to buy one, we would gently try to steer them in the direction of something else without saying don't get one, they're carp. But at the price for 65w, most people were determined they wanted one. It really didn't sit right with us, hence the decision to just take them off sale.

For what it`s worth the M80 plus is a great value, great batterylife(4400mah) 80W device, forget about the TC, it`s rubbish, but I think that is the main reason they are so cheap

Yikes lairey that is not good. Apart from the voltage drop thingy (which appears to be sorted) so far so good on mine.

I thought you all deserved a short update on my M65 which I have now been using almost exclusively for the last 2 weeks when away from the OH's prying eyes! In a couple of words - 'loving it! It's not much bigger than an iStick 20w, and really feels solid and functional. Mine has a brand new Samsung 25R which was purchased at the same time. A bit of a faff to undo the 4 x allen key bolts which hold the bottom plate in place, so now the battery's in place I;m charging it via USB, which works perfectly, and charges from about 25% in under 2 hours. The menu is basic but easy to use. I did experience a few newbie problems switching the M65 off, but realised after a couple of days that one press is required to wake up the screen before the 5 clicks to switch on or off works. To power off completely you have to access the menu so I tend to just kill the buttons which saves accidental firing in a pocket. The power button is light but positive, and the + and - buttons work well. The screen is clear, and give the usual ohm rating, supplied power in volts, and the selected wattage as well as the battery charge state graphic. I find that the power output is steady and am running Kayfuns and Taifuns at about 1w higher before experiencing burnt hits and general shennigans. I have tried a dripper at 25w and the flavour and vapour is stunning, although I realise this is as much to do with the atties as it does the mod itself. I haven't yet experienced any problems with power drop, lack of power or any other of the problems mentioned previously. For £40 I think this is a good buy, and the small form factor is a big plus for me; it fits in my hand nicely while driving, and it's quite discreet when out and about. There is the smallest of overhangs with a 22mm mod, but this is a small niggle in the grand scheme of things. All in all, I'm really pleased, and hope this helps prospective buyers to decide.
