What a depressing time we live in if this is the best list they can come up with. Only a handful are deserving (pope, dali lama, alibaba dude, Dr Joanne Liu et) the rest.... woeful.

Isn't it, it seemed about 75% entertainment and sports people to me, like they don't get enough pats on the back and the odd terrorist, though I did vote yes for Harper Lee.

Seem all you have to do to get nominated is appear on TV, lie to the public (sorry, I mean be a politician) or be at the top of one of wall streets darlings (microtrash, crapple, etc)
