Great minds mate Yeah i'll take that. P.S how does yours read a .05 ohm coil the spec sheet says the minimum is .10 ohms? Ive no idea lol. Ive always built it that low from day one of having my first dna40 and it reads the same on every one i have. Always use steam engine to get the ohms i want. Cant get it lower than that though

just rechecked and the bigger wrapped coild is reading 01 so i will try one with bigger coils but its gonna be quite a few wraps methinks I notice you said you have some Kanger OCC ni200 coils i would say the easiest thing to do would be to throw one in your Subtank and see if it reads, you will at least know the coil is within spec being a factory built head, that way you can determine if it's an issue with the board or your builds. To get a .20 ohm coil with 28awg ni200 you would need 16 wraps on a 2.5mm rod. www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp?mat=ni200&r=0.2&awg=28&id=2.5I would shoot for a .15 ohm build on a 3mm rod which would only need 10-11 wraps. www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp?mat=ni200&r=0.15&awg=28&id=3

Doesn't Ni200 need about 200 wraps for 1 ohm? So only half a wrap for 0.02. Or something ridiculous like that?

colli try removing the earth wire to the body, clean the screw and the hole (Pipe cleaner with IPA is ideal) put some Noalox or Vaseline in the hole and add a washer and a flat head screw if you have one to fit and do up nice and tight. It's a weak spot on most Hanas.
