Hi Hypnoclown and welcome. What kind of articles are you looking for? Just ask whatever questions you need answering and there are some very experienced vapers here who would be glad to help you out. You will know to stop inhaling when your nicotine intake requirements are satisfied. The smell depends on what flavours you would be vaping but most of them smell quite aromatic and it does not linger or on go stale like tobacco smoke. The vapour that is emitted is more or less the same "smoke" that you see at discos and live shows. I still wouldn't vape in the presence of very young children but there will be no contamination within a few minutes after you stop. If you really want to test the waters get one of these: www.safercigs.co.uk/Starter_Kits_Under__20/cat705284_931171.aspxand use code allaboute for a 10% discount. You won't get much by the way of battery life but for roughly £8.00 delivered they will give you a good idea of what vaping is all about.

Oh god Hypno, don't google lol Ciggys contain 4000 ish ingrediants, e-cigs contain 4. Sounds way safer to me You can stop inhaling when you feel you have had enough, some people treat it like a ciggy others chain vape, it's up to you. I'd feel quite happy vapeing them in a house with children present. Parental permission given of course. I have used them with parental permission in my relatives house in fron tof their children. The lady of the house is a staunch anti smoker and was quite happy for me to go ahead. Again it's personal choice, some folks don't feel comfortable using them infront of children. They may smell of whatever your using as you exhale but this soon dissipates, usually within seconds and then no odour remains until the next time. The next morning all you will smell is your home

I blew vapour over a work colleague who had never smoked in her life in our small cloakroom at work and asked if she could smell anything. She said only a faint sweet aroma, I was vaping caramel flavour at the time.

Hmm been reading other posts, I really want a riva now lol. I am definitely going to order something later just not sure yet. Probably a riva or the keyring one - how big are they? And how many ml do I need per day do u reckon? If I get the riva is the starter kit all I need plus juicy juice

Riva is a good choice, a couple of vendors will change the atomisers for cartomisers, which you will prob get a lot more use out of TBH if you ask nice I'd suggest you do get a seperate atomiser though for testing out juices before you fill up a whole cartomiser. But yes starter kit plus juice and your good to go Oh and a drip tip not essential to start though. They only a £1 or so so might as well

yes all you need is a Riva kit and some juice. to give you some idea a beginner usually vapes 1-2ml a day but as you only smoke 6-8 ciggies then you may vape less than 1ml. also consideration of how few ciggies you do smoke i would go for a nicotine level of around 12mg juice
vaping is different to smoking. with smoking you light one up and smoke it till its gone then be satisfied till you get another craving... with vaping you only take a few puffs but usually more often

As a light smoker you will probably only use 1 - 2 ml a day a riva style e-cig is around 135mm the SD keyring is smaller

Hi hypnoclown. As others have said, since you are a light smoker, I'd definitely try a disposable first before investing any money in a kit, just in case it doesn't agree with you.
A disposable should last you for a day or two before it dies, but it is good enough as proof of concept.
If you want to carry on, I would have thought the SD Keyring is the way to go, but you don't need to decide that now. Again, since you are a light smoker, your chances of giving up the nicotine habit are quite good, so another reason not to invest loads of cash.
As regards health, e-cigs are far less bad than setting fire to tobacco, but you are still taking in nicotine, which is addictive, toxic in large amounts and sadly rather pleasurable.

If I get the riva is the starter kit all I need plus juicy juice Can't comment on the size of the keyring as I don't have one, but the Riva is about 1/2 an inch shorter than a standard biro (without the top as I can't find it!) when you have a drip tip attached, and the battery is about as big as a fat cigar. Most people use between 1 - 2 ml of juice a day, depending on whether you're a light or heavy vaper.

VapeEscape and Safercigs have the SDK. Juices from Freedom Vape (they do a good pick and mix), or VapeEscape. See the suppliers section for links and discount codes.
You don't need a drip tip, but life is a lot more comfy with one.
The two prefilled cartos can be refilled, but if you want to try lots of flavours it's worth getting some more. you should stick to standard resistance Boge or Kanger.

Don't forget the discount codes on the supplier's board! It may be worth getting 2 so as you always have one charged up
