I might leave it then as I don't really have a clue about Mah (don't even know what it is!) Is there a heap of diff between SR and LR then or is it pretty negligable Simply put a LR (low resistance) cartomiser burns hotter than a SR (Standard resistance) cartomiser. Liken it to an electric fire, SR are 1 bar LR are 2 bars, BUT running 2 bars takes TWICE the amount of electricity or in our case battery power. This means whilst a LR cartomiser may seem like a good thing it MAY burn some liquids, it will vaporise more liquid, so you will use more but probably most important it will drain the battery faster! I would recommend that unless you have a big battery of over 900 mAh then stick with SR cartomisers. The engineering in these has come on such a long way from when they were first produced. When I first started on Ecigs atomiser coils failed quite regularly, now however I cannot remember when a cartomiser coil went on me. Modern cartomisers wick much better than they used to that coupled with the better coils means you can get a great Vape off a standard battery with a SR carto. Certainly I am not saying you should not use LR cartomisers, but only when you are totally comfortable with E-cigs and/or you have a modicum of understanding of what you are doing.

Thanks for the explanation; I now *think* that I know what I'm doing.
Am going to stick with the SR's; now if only I could actually get through to payment on the sites I'm trying to buy from!
Might telephone the order through tomorrow instead

ETA just checked the instruction booklet (am amazed that I've actually kept it and not thrown it out!) it says 750 Mah special power supply; no idea if that means I have the special power supply or not ??? Will double check VE website; keeps crashing on me when I'm trying to pay; v annoyingprobably jason has too much of blakeys money in his account so has to open a swiss account to pay it all into! who`d be a vendor????

Well, someone must have had a word with someone as the order has finally gone through.
Used Freedom Vape in the end; great service and lovely banana mallow juice! I swear that if I went for the nicotine free version I'd still be addicted to it!

FYI LR cartomisers will be fine with your batteries and i would suggest giving them a go as they give a much greater vaping experience. they will use up batteries quicker but its only gonna be maybe by a quarter which will be evened out as you'll get more vapour from a shorted button press. as Des said its like having two electric bars on your fire... sure it uses more electric but heats the room up quicker so you dont have to run it as long
