Hello all
I need some further advice, to add to the great advice already received, if that's ok.
Vaping going well and am really impressed so far. I'm using an Ego and am happy with the battery life etc; I'm also using the carts with the wadding stuff in. I also use the medium strength juice with a 40/60 mix
I need, and love, the throat hit but have found that it's not consistent enough for me; it's fine for the first few puffs but then decreases down to pretty much nothing.
What can i do to improve this.
I did some research on here and can see that people have suggested a LR cart.???
When I looked on one of the suppliers websites it said that it needed a drip tip and this is where I'm a bit confused.
Is that right and, more importantly, is a drip tip easy to use???? or would you suggest a higher strength juice.
I was on about 15 rollies a day if that helps.
Thanks in advance for any help.

a drip tip is just an extention on the end of the carto so it sits more comfortably in your mouth

the drip tip is just the bit that goes in your mouth at the end of the carto. It replace the little white bung usually found in the end of cartos, really simple. Hope you have more luck with the LR

Drip tips are super easy to use, you just take out the little plastic bung at the end of your carto and pop it on instead of the bung, make sit much more comfortable to use and cooler too Higher pg in the mix can improve the throat hit a little more, if your not carveing more nicotine and and e-cig is doing the job then I'd suggest you stay at the same lvl of nicotine. Higher nicotine can also help with the throat hit but some people don't want to up the amount for personal reasons. Low resistance can also help with the throat hit, but you may find that no matter what adjustments you make if you chain vape then the hit/taste will wear off a little during the day.

OK here's some pics that may help: This is a Carto as it comes out of the packet with the "condoms" still on. Condoms off, you can see the mouthpiece end with the white stopper with the hole that you suck on Stopper removed (use a fork tine, knitting needle, small scredriver etc) here's the carto and a drip tip, people use a drip tip instead of the white bung cos it feels better in the mouth. Simply push in the drip tip in the end of the cartomiser the rubber O ring holds it nice and snug. Remove the drip tip to fill up then put the drip tip back in and vape away!

Ellie I think anne asked the mAh of your batteries because it could affect whether you should be running LR's or not... I could be wrong though, still new

Ahhh. the answer is...I haven;t a scooby! I've checked on the vape escape site and it says that they are suitable.
ETA just checked the instruction booklet (am amazed that I've actually kept it and not thrown it out!)
it says 750 Mah special power supply; no idea if that means I have the special power supply or not ???
Will double check VE website; keeps crashing on me when I'm trying to pay; v annoying

I was under the impression that it was not recommended to use LR's on a battery that was less than 650, but I could of been wrong, oh it could be 450... damn I don't know lol, somebody will be along to tell you though... unless I'm wrong altogether and they're ok on all batteries, don't rush into ordering them though.

I might leave it then as I don't really have a clue about Mah (don't even know what it is!) Is there a heap of diff between SR and LR then or is it pretty negligable

mah stands for milliampere-hour (spelling?) in very basic terms, it will affect how long your battery will last between charges. An LR carto puts more drain on the battery, which means the battery will last less time than with an SR carto... I think that, in very basic terms, is why it's recommended to have a bigger battery
