Vype e-cigarettes

A Magazine called "Newsweek" is running an article on e-cigs and particularly on Vype.

They are even printing a comment from me about these products.

We did quite a bit of background research (me, other vapers and the reporter) and the Vype e-pen is something that we picked over for quite a long time.

The Nicotine content is somewhat of a misleading concept, as the Vype e-pen is engineered to get maximum puffs per refill, so the Nic level needed to be quite high.

Sure, it contains 27mg liquid, but it vapes at under 5 watts so it makes less vapour than an E-Lite/Nicolite disposable fresh out of the wrapper. The E-Lite will of course drop quickly to a mouth-watering 3-4 watt vape....

The original Vype had 45mg liquid. I can vape on one solidly without experiencing any trouble whatsoever.

I was nosey and emailed them asking about nic strength this is email I got back (not that I am interests in them)

Must be a 4-5 watts sort of vaper then. Toby from iVapour had someone in his shop with one. It was just the lightest of vapes by the sounds of it.

I would never trust any person calling themselves a vaper but reviewing tobacco co. products.

I suppose someone has to do a review. I'm not sure I could be bothered to go through the process of refilling these if I had one. There is so much way better kit out there.

Yep, but sadly, they don't get advertised on the box, only the overpriced & rather crappy stuff has the financials for that. All we can only hope for is those that do buy into e-cigs that are pushed on tv, Google looking for something more & find the various vaping forums.

...& fairly good chance of people progressing to proper kit via google & vape forums I reckon.....I know that's how I did it; straight after My 1st inhalation of burning coil/silica from My CE4!!!
Wot a great thought......NO Repeat orders for them pedlars of 'govt. approved' tat!!!

My continued struggles to not be rude about other people limit my comments.



It's dreadful. He puffs on it for like 5-6 seconds and declares it a great vape.

I can't work him out. He's not a stooge for tobacco, and he has done some decent reviews on some decent products.... so w.t.h did Vype come from?

Now I know how people can vape at meetings and not get any vape hardly compared to me (and I'm eyeing them up with envy how they are vaping and not blowing clouds LOL)
