More help people, gosh where would I be without you all- would have given in and gone back on nasties by now I guess, you are all lifesavers LITERALLY
One of the juices I bought is to me anyway foul, now does this mean I have to throw the cartomisor away or can I clean it somehow to get the juice out of it.
It would be handy to know as at the moment I am putting my different juices in a new cartomisor so rapidly running out of them as only got 10 cartomisors for Riva and only two left unused.
Note to self instead of ordering more juices order more cartomisors lol
I know I read somewhere someone was saying menthol is good for something and I have menthol crystals in keep them for when anyone has a cold) how would i add them to a cartomisor to see if it will help the flavour, just throw one crystal in or dilute it in the e-juice
Thanks

The best way I know to empty a cartomiser is to put a condom cap on the mouth end of it and put it in a lanyard or something similar (mouth end down) then spin it round quite sharply so that centrifugal forces force out the juice into the cap. You won't get it all out, but if you persist you can get a fair bit out. Note - make sure the carto is secure in whatever you spin round to avoid taking an eye out There are then all sorts of suggestions about washing out etc. but personally I would just fill it up with some reasonably strongly flavoured juice (e.g. a menthol based one) and vape through!

Are you using the cartomisers to taste test juices prep? If you are, it would be better to get an atomiser and drip tip which you can use over and over again. What e cig have you got?

I have the Riva, but don't have an atomiser. Never thought about that can order one so can use it to try. I must dig around as with my first Gamucci it came with an atomisor and cartridges but as I bought cartomisors to use with it I put the atomiser away once the cartridges were used up. Now where did I put it, it was only 3 weeks ago, will go and have a dig around, if I can find it that will save a couple of quid and can just use the gamucci to try out new flavours.......right off to do some digging

If the Gamucci is an automatic be careful you dont over fill the atomiser, it may leak and bung up the battery air hole. Then it wont work as well

You could use some empty cartridges and washable foam pieces with the atomiser to taste test too.

Just ordered an atomiser and cartridges for my Riva as heaven knows where I have put the atomiser for the Gamucci. So will use them in future to try out new flavours, thanks

Can't find the atomiser for the gamucci anywhere, did find a pack of new cartridges, but not much use without atomiser, its so small I might have overlooked it. I usually cannot remember what I did put something 5 minutes before never mind 3 weeks so guess there was not much chance of me finding it. Oh I did find I had bought a forth battery for the gamucci, I had forgotten, you got two with the kit and I totally forgot I ordered another two not one, that is what you call forgetful....

I had the same thing prep, instead of test tasting a lime juice, I filled a carto and first vape it was ewwwww lol Was advised to boil the cartomiser for 10mins, blow through and let dry for 24hrs Have tried that last night, it still has a faint smell of lime to it whilst drying, may use that carto for a daquiri juice I got. then again Jason's cartos are quite cheap so will get some more and remember to taste test first

I clean out my cartomizers and a friend does too. It's not really needed but I have a load I've cleaned and put away for when I run out one day.
What you need is a steam cleaner and some pliers. Job done. Steam cleaners can be picked up off amazon for around £16. Maybe cheaper elsewhere. Use the adapter that comes to a point. And apply steam through both ends. This will get almost 100% of the used juice out. Leave to dry, and it's good to go again. This is just a simple method of extending the life of cartomizers.
They will still eventually get to a point where the best place for them is the bin

Do you know you have reminded me I have a small steam cleaner - one that has a long nose, it for getting into hard to get places, cannot remember why I bought it but I know its languishing in cupboard as I thought type of thing I might just want again so will dig it out and steam clean all the cartos, great advice, thank you

Yes that's exactly what you need. Make sure you use some pliers or tongs to hold the carto tho as they can get quite hot in the process. I drop mine on to a piece of kitchen paper afterwards just to aid the removal of surplus water. Then leave further to dry. Happy to have helped

Thanks have a full toolbox with a few types of pliers as well, I am the type of person that likes to have most things in, just in case and ends up hoarding, 'as you never know' lol .
