Exactly..
Doing it like this your looking at around a minute or two per cart(if that)... + drying time.
It's rather effortless and you can have handfuls cleaned in no time.

Iwish I hadn't given mine away now! I was so disappointed with it. I thought you could just blast away all the dirt, I didn't think you still needed to get a cloth and rub the dirt off :-[

You can just flush the carto with very hot water back and forth a few times using a cut off condom stuck onto the end of a syringe for a few times and dry it for about half hour over a radiator..

Ah I remember now why I bought the pointy end steamer - have two leather couches and in between each seat is a gap - sealed at bottom but always gets lots of dog hairs in it, and seemed a good idea to steam it as well as clean, but then was told steam and leather not a good combi, so now just got to dig it out.

Maca think Des mentioned this last night as well, but he only briefly mentioned it and I thought he meant just run it under tap, your way sounds similar but a bit more complicated and I don't quite get what you mean, is there a youtube video of what your describing?

Hmm...Basically cut the bottom of a long carto condom and superglue it onto a syringe..

I thought you were talking about the Vision Stardust tanks. Cleaning cartos is a different thing. Steam sounds good, i tried it a few times ages ago using the frother on my Espresso machine, it worked OK, but I just can't be bothered these days, I just bin em now.

Dug out my steamer and it will not steam - filled it with water, switched it on, it started heating up but reached some temp and didn't go hotter and not hot enough for steam, left if for 2 hrs in hope it would get hot enough, not sure why its heating up so far but not enough. It should only take a few mins to heat up to steam temp, so for the moment cartos will be put to one side in case I buy another one. Unless I try the expresso method, I have one of those singing and dancing coffee machines with steam vent.

You may well have been talking about Vision Stardust , Des there were so many posts I possibly didn't pick up on that , worked out what flavours were in em today so didn't need to do it after all, oh and I have a picture of my nicely painted Carto's and Bottles so I don't get confused again, will post in own thread in a sec

Funny enough there is a video linked off that other one where some1 uses an expresso machine. Wud rather have mine ova a sink tho.. Cud end up being quite messy. Think I payed just under £20 for mine. Signed, sealed and delivered. A friend is taking good care of it at the moment for me. (cough) I'll get it back at some point.
