And why would the Irish Cancer Society be calling for a ban when there's no evidence linking ecigs to cancer? If cancer rates drop because people take up vaping they will be out of jobs. It is open season on vaping. You can almost say anything about them now and it will be believed - just look at California. I think a lot of it is click bait. Come out with a report or an opinion on e cigs - particularly if you can squeeze in a think-of-the-children angle or a cancer-scare angle and you will get coverage. So much cheaper than advertising or doing some actual research and having an informed opinion. By coming out with this horse manure the Irish Cancer Society will undoubtedly get more hits on their website, shares on Facebook etc, and quoted the press. Win win for them. |
