Hi all
Just bought an origin v2 (clone) my 1st rda, first thing where could I buy the very thin o rings that fit on the outside of the main chamber. And secondly I've only used it once and its chewing up the top o ring "hence new ones needed" when I slide the air control on I've lubricated with juice but just eat my last o ring. Noticed one air hole feels a little sharp could I lightly wet & dry the inside ?

I have the Genesis version so it is different, but when the top-cap o'rings get tight I take them out and put them on the outside of the top cap for a couple of minutes to stretch them, then put them back a the fit is better for a few days. You can get small quantities of o'rings by size on eBay, they are listed by inner diameter and thickness.

I'm using mine with just one 'o'-ring now 'cos of exactly the same. When mine arrived, I had to put it in the freezer for a bit in order to get it apart! Once it woz in bits, I saw that the assemblers had graunched up one 'o'-ring, pushing it out of the recess....hence afc ring being jammed. I found one that fitted, in the spares...but promptly managed to chew that one up too! I just have one 'o'-ring now! How are You liking the V2 tho'?.....Mine's permanently attached to My Nemmie these days!

Ive tried lightly sanding the inside with wet and dry and still chews the o rings up so it now sits in the bottom draw, ive bought a mini freakshow which i find easier to build and a great flavour chaser. Hopefully try the v2 again one day when im in the mood yourgurnard ![Sulking](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/BLOrxBf3XkQJXg7miImU.gif)

while i have little or no experience with rebuild-able atty's, i have a little experience matting Stainless steel threads with other materials for a good seal, PTFE tape is a great aid, a couple of wraps on a thread can work wonders, and wrapping under tension will encourage a fold over an edge too. to tidy up after a seal has been made a sharp blade can trim off any excess. might be worth a try. PTFE is a very neutral material heatsafe and safe to use with most liquids, solvents, acids, and bases.

PTFE tape rescued my Taifun!....wrapped twice over the 'o'-ring behind the coil shroud bit to stop it from flopping down when the chimney/tank was fitted. One of the most useful items in me vape kit.....& You can use the empty reel for Kanthal storage!
