Glasgow School of Vape, New Vape Meet in Glasgow.

Hey, Guys and Girls

I am new to the forum, but want to let you know about a vape meet that is happening on the 3rd of May, Upstairs in The Vale, Dundas street, Glasgow, called The Glasgow School of Vape.

I have been vaping for about a year and a half, and decided that I wanted to run an event that was accessible to all levels of vaper, and also invites smokers to come and see what all the fuss is about.

The Glasgow School of Vape aims to bring retailers, vapers and smokers together in order to share experiences and pass on knowledge.

The event will run from 2.30pm till 10pm, and will feature retailer tables from Emporium Vapour, Smokemax, Vaporized, Dr. Vapor and Blackhacks Vapegear. There will be free raffles throughout the day offering prizes for both beginners and more experienced vapers. There will also be a biggest cloud competition and a rebuildables section.

If this event is successful, we hope to get a bigger venue for our next one.

Just to clarify, I am not a retailer, and I do not run a business. I am paying for this out of my own shallow pockets, and plan to make all events free to attendees. The more successful this event is, the more likely that I can fund further events through retailer contribution.

Venue was very small gill2009 and at some point was really hard to move around.There was nowhere to sit,just few chairs at the bar.4 vendor stalls,but again hard to go and check out because too many people in tight space,constantly someone in front of the stalls.Anyway mostly iSticks variations and few box mods,Lemov2 and Kanger subtanks were for sale.
Since you can't move much around you stuck talking to person you come with.We talk with few people,but just because we were at the bar
There was coiling and wicking station,so really nice if someone want to learn or ask questions about it.3 raffles with a prize from each vendor in each raffle.Raffle for juice as well.
Fire alarm went on twice and we been told if go on 3rd time we have to leave. Anyway I think is a good beginning,but maybe next time a bigger venue and somewhere you can puff away without worry about fire alarm.Good effort from organizer to put all this together and spread the word.
Will leave thatguy to add more if I miss anything.Me personally think will stick to our Edinburgh meetings

As if that would happen gill2009 , we'd miss our multinational hakas, our tubes, our exploding heads(when sampling bacon ice) and all our friends from our Edinburgh meets. Where else can you find superman and the tazmanian devil in the one pub?
