I did think of looking at Fasttech but as I don't currently have a tank for the Cloupor, I didn't want to be waiting months for it to arrive, so decided I'd rather pay extra to get one in the UK. I might buy a couple of those silicone sleeves though, thanks for the tip. Most of the colours hurt my eyes but the black and red ones look OK

Thanks babs, I might try them for a Protank 2 v2 clone then if I decide to get one. I was thinking of getting an airflow base for my mini Protank, as that's a very tight draw. I see there's a v2 and v3 for the mini www.discountvapers.com/kanger-air-flow-control-valve-base-replacements/ and I presume the v3 works better. These reviews for the full-size Protank version aren't very flattering though, although the second two seem to be complaining more about the tanks than the airflow base! www.kangeronline.com/products/airflow-control-valveHas anyone used and would recommend them? Is there anywhere other than myepack that sells them and doesn't charge £3 shipping for a £3.99 part?

(I picked up a few sets as spares.)

I'd recommend you get yourself an up-to-date atomiser that just works out of the box rather than a year-old design that needs extra bits bolted on. Plus you'll have forgotten all about your Mini ProTanks within half an hour! And if you go for something like a Subtank Mini, I'll bet you'll be after a second or something else similar within a month!

Thanks ceedee but I already ordered the 5-pack of rings and a silicone sleeve as they only came to £3 and I decided not to hesitate as they'll take a while to get here anyway. So much appreciated but please save them for someone who really needs them.

If you're referring to the mini Protank, the only thing I'll be getting is the airflow ring, as I already have the tank. So I'm not thinking of getting a mini Protank instead of the Subtank. I'm not sure I'll use the Subtank all the time due to the amount of juice it drinks and I've already got a couple of spinner batteries, which I'm not going to throw away, so might as well get the mini Protank working as well as possible, even if I only use it occasionally as a backup.

The one I linked to is for 2 as well. Why would I want to get 2100mAh when I can get 3100mAh for a couple of quid more? Surely they'll last a fair bit longer between charging won't they?

You can in theory doveman . . . . although there are a couple of ' buts ' from me - it is a squeeze fitting a button top in a Cloupor Mini, personally I prefer a flat top in them. There are better batteries to be had than Efests, how accurate that rating is - I don't have the technical knowledge to tell you, though I suspect it could be over rated a smidge? Essentially I agree with the gents and their recommendations. As an aside, I'd also be inclined to remove your battery for charging, which is easy enough with the magnetic door - for no other reason than I personally believe it to be safer whatever battery you choose to get.

Most of the colours hurt my eyes but the black and red ones look OK I got one for my mini, stopped using it after a day, it's a pain in the neck having to remove it to replace the battery (I wont use the onboard charger) so I'm saving the sleeve for winter. I bought the subtank minis from FT, they took 7 days to arrive (make sure you get an 'in stock' item) and that was without using the e-packet option
