Hi guys, I'm quite new to DIY and I was wondering if there would be any benefit to mixing stand alone juices and blending them rather than mixing the concentrates ? I bought some TFA flavours that have a distinct flowery aroma ( think pink toilet duck ), can I expect these to dissipate over time or am I better looking at another flavour house ? TIA

Thats the way I do it, individual mixed flavours and then blend them, Get more accurate results this way as you can add much smaller amounts of flavours where one drop of concentrate might be too much. If you are adding a lot of flavour then no need to worry about nicotine being diluted by the concentrate added as your stand a lone all ready has nicotine.

As Brambles says, nothing wrong with carrying on mixing/blending in that way if that's what works for you Personally, I mix new concentrates as 5ml stand alone samples in order to get a good idea of what they taste like, but then when making mixes/recipes I'll use the neat concentrates mixed into VG/PG at amounts the calculator works out!! Having the 5ml samples made up means I can easily try diffent combinations to get a feel for how flavours work together. What I tend to do is put a couple of drops each of flavours that I want to try in combination, onto my dripper Then I start to get an idea of % needed of each concentrate. Trial, error and luck really!! Re the flowerey TPA flavours - they could well dissipate once steeped. TPA/TFA have loads of great concentrates, but it's like with anything - you may end up preferring Capella custard over Flavour Art custard or TPA/TFA. There's so many different concentrates to try it gets a bit overwhelming at times and I have to remind myself I have loads that I haven't even got round to using yet!!! Edit - Just to clarify, I don't mean that I mix a whole 5mls of concentrate up in one go!! I mean my samples are 5mls including pg/vg & nic
