Problem with Kanger EMOW and Protank mini 3...

I'm a bit of a newbie at all this techie stuff so thought it best to put this question out there to all of you guys...

I have a Kanger EMOW vv1300 battery and have been using a Kanger protank mini 3 on it this week.  All fine (in fact it was my favourite tank) until today.  Suddenly when I use it my battery light starts flashing multi coloured after each draw (flashes 8 times).  The vapour is diminishing too.  The battery is fully charged and doesn't do this when I use any other tank on it so it does seem to be the tank...

I wondered if it needs a new coil (already?!) but from what I read, there would be a burnt taste if it did.  But no burnt taste, just very little taste and a flashing light.

I took it apart, cleaned it and put it back together but no difference.  The juice I've been using is 50/50

any clues, tips or ideas welcome!

Had similar problem with Aerotank Mow, solution was to ease out the pin on bottom of coil a smidgen so it makes full contact with pin on mod.
