isabel22 I had ordered a Goliath from Gearbest but just after the pre-order had finished, on 17th April. I thought it was showing as 3 to 5 days before despatch. I know they have been having problems getting enough stock but they took my money straight away. I messaged them asking when they will be despatching mine and they have apologised for the delay explaining that they have been let down by the manufacturer. They have offered me three choices:- 1) Just to wait until they get them. 2) An exchange for something else. 3) A refund to my Gearbest Wallet?? (I suspect that is a credit note thingy) What they did not offer was a full refund to my Paypal account! I have asked for a full refund to my Paypal account and await their confirmation. They did this to me when I ordered a Goblin from them, again showing despatch in 3 to 5 days but once I had ordered, there was no stock. Gearbest are still showing the Goliath as despatching in 3 to 5 days on their website I am not sure that I will use Gearbest again. Rant over........for now.

We've already updated on the page today because we just back from our Labour Holiday. We will give you full refund to your Paypal account. Hope you can give me your order number so that i can help you to solve it more quickly. And if you choose to refund to GB Wallet, it will only takes less than 3 days, and refund to Paypal, it will takes 3 ~ 7 days because need more procedures before money back to your account. (GB -(1~3 days)- Paypal -(1~3 days) -your account). Hope you can understand.

Just had something similar with a goblin that didn't arrive, I was offered 50% of what I payed for the goblin because I didn't take out insurance.
But luckily for me Isabel said I can have 100% put in my wallet thingy and I'm looking at buying a ego one 2200 from them so hoping the money from the goblin will be deducted from the price of the ego one, mind you I'm now a bit world that the ego one won't turn up now.

It can take about 3 days to show on your account. The piss off is, it don't take three days to come out your account to pay for something they don't even have in stock. For me it kinda looks like this : Order and pay = Iimmediately. Ships in 3 days = we don't have it but we'll get it. Ships in 7 days = we don't have it and we're having trouble getting it. Processing = we don't have it, don't think we'll ever get it, but we've got your cash anyway. Item marked as shipped = hopefully it will be with you before hell freezes over. Six months later = Oh your order never arrived. No problem, we can refund half your money in 3-7 days ! As robby would say "I could be talking bo??ox" but then again experience tells me otherwise.

Gotta admit I had to keep chasing for my refund into my wallet, I originally wanted an exchange but everything I picked was out of stock then wanted a paypal refund but it was way too much hassle so eventually got a refund into my wallet. I had some points added for some reviews I did as well which put some more into my wallet but then... Point to note once it is in your wallet minime you can only use a max of 30% of it against any purchase............. I queried this as it's in my wallet and I should be able to use as much as I want, after all it is my money but I got told it is in their policy, what it really means is you will have to keep coming back and buying things until your wallet is used up, to my mind that is poor practice isabel22

You've paid hard earned money on an item that's not going to get delivered anytime soon and they then break it down into 30 percent chunks? Fasttech might be a bit of a struggle now and again with their refunds but they give in eventually. I was just about to click on an order from there but this threads persuaded me it's not worth the hassle to save a quid or two.

I know you can only use a maximum of 30% of your points on any order which is fair enough but I thought you could use the money in your wallet to pay for your order in full. This link on GB seems to suggest you can and shows you how to do it striker42 www.gearbest.com/about/gb-wallet.htmlPoints aren't placed in your wallet, they are for separate use

My dealings with GearBest on my first couple of orders were much as you guys seem to be experiencing , both ended up being cancelled as they went well past their shipping date, and there was no sign of the items coming into stock. I ended up threatening a Pay Pal dispute, and this was the only thing that seemed to kick them into action with refunds made within 24hrs.
Against my better judgment I ordered a Goblin and a few days later the Goliath, both were dispatched as promised so they can get things right at times. So kind of a mixed bag really, I would not have used them again but the only place that seemed to have the Goblin and Goliath were GearBest at that time.
Cheers

Gearbest wallet, which means you are free to spend your money anywhere as long as its Gearbest. Its like asking for a kidney when you want a refund to your paypal account. BTW its not only Gearbest that are guilty of this, several others operate in the same fashion .
