It's my Birthday next month so DH has offered to buy me a Lava Tube when he gets paid at the end of February I've just been reading a thread on UKVapers talking about some problems with the LT and quality issues. So now i'm a bit undecided as I also like the look of this mod www.ecigwizard.com/shop/en/the-bolt/370-the-bolt-mod.htmlHas anyone any opinions or advice?

I saw that thread about problems with the LT I've not really heard anything about the Bolt though. The main thing I'd need to know about it is - does it have any vent holes?

my vote is for the Lavatube still.... to be honest with the huge amount of sales that the Lavatube has had it has held up far better than most expected ....there are alot of happy owners on this forum and for the price it cant be beat

Good point Chrissie, should have thought about that after reading the recent story about exploding batteries Ray, that seems like really good value for the Howitzer kit, have you seen any reviews on it yet? True Gordy, most fols seem very happy with their LTs

Karma i have a liberty flights silver LT, and im over the moon with it So much easier to use than my Provari and since iv had the LT iv really not touched the Provari The only problem iv had so far is sometimes the button sticks, but for the price im more than happy with it.

To be honest as any supplier will tell you the amount they have had back of the lavatube is far far less than they expected when they first got them . I couldn't agree more with Gordy for the price the only way you can beat it is with a box mod (these can be cumbersome and don't look so good out and about) so each have their place in the vaping world .. The provari and the buzz pro also have their places in the e-cig market and i don't wish to take away anything from them but they are also quite expensive

A month on from purchase and my Lavatube is going fine, not had one hiccup. I would thoroughly recommend one.
I'm still using the red batteries that came with it as well with no issues.

I've just read that thank you for the link Karma. As someone said, it was probably one of those rare occurrences. Faults can and do happen to anything that uses batteries. I always find it strange that so many times we generally hear more negative comments about merchandise than positive. I switch my LT off every night before I go to bed and never leave the batteries on charge when I'm not around. Everything we use daily should be treated with respect. Just my personal opinion, I'm sure we all have our own different ones. OK, so the provari's better, I can't comment as I don't have one and am never likely too unless I win the lottery, so I'm grateful for my LT.

Hit the nail on the head there Anne and that's why the lavatube exists and is so popular at the moment
