Pixies Mint Choc Chip - Lime tasting??

Don't get me wrong it's actually quite pleasant but all I am getting is a distinctive lime background sweetness to Pixies Mint Choc Chip, I used a fresh syringe and haven't even got any lime concentrate that could have contaminated it when I mixed it?

Not getting any choc chip at all although there is a cool albeit very slight mintyness to it. Steeped for 3 weeks upstairs in the dark box.

Has anyone got this/used it at all? It's a lovely dark brown color and the nic was fresh pre-mixed jobby.

Is there anyone else you could ask to try it TJ . . . . as it's interesting sometimes the different ' notes ' we individually pick up from a flavour.

CCW's Custard, I get a distinct taste of Mint/Menthol from it - I've only seen one other person mention this!

Have you contacted Cyberpixie herself to see if she's had any other comment?

I wonder if your bottle is mislabelled as pixies mint choc chip is very chocolate and minty - its a slap in your face obvious concentrate

It smells spot on too and is dark, what do you get from smelling concentrate bottle and what colour is it?

Hmmm just smelt the bottle Pepperty and it smells like errrm chocolate lime sweets, you know the proper old fashioned ones? No smell of mint at all which is a bit bizarre , didn't think to smell it before I mixed it up.

Haven't really got anyone near to try it Perpetua, won't be seeing sis in law for a few weeks yet but will ask her when I do see her. I haven't asked Cyberpixie yet to be honest as wondered whether my taste buds had gone awry although I can taste my pre-mixed mint chocolate no problem.

Oh and the concentrate is dark brown and the mix is only slightly lighter.

TJ, Pixie has spotted your post can you PM me the batch number on the bottle just so we can see which one it's from (there have been 2 I've sold) and we can sort something out from there?

I'm not going to hide anything in PM's if anyone is wondering and I will report back on this thread with what the outcome is, it's just easier initially while we sort out the batch etc if we don't do everything on this thread

OK, TJ has sent me the PM and I have spoken with Pixie. As far as we know TJ is the first person to have got a lime taste from the Mint Choc Chip and Pixie doesn't actually posses any Lime flavouring either so it's definitely not a case of cross contamination. That's not to say that it's doesn't taste of lime to TJ of course and what I'm doing is sending her out a bottle of Mint Choc Chip from a new batch Pixie is sending out to me tomorrow - TJ may find it tastes the same but it's worth trying I think just to see

I vape Pixies Mint Choc Chip Ice Cream about 50% of the time and it always tastes spot on...........but Chocolate Lime does sound rather yummy.

VirtualVape have just bought out an apparently good chocolate lime Greigster, I haven't tried it yet but may well order a bottle end of the month to see what it's like.

There are occasionally hiccups in the purchasing world, what makes the difference between a good and average vendor is the way that the problem is dealt with. I have watched this thread with interest and have to say that piratesvapeuk have gone the extra mile. Congratulations, I am impressed!

So back to update. piratesvapeuk kindly sent me a new bottle from a different batch from Cyberpixie and I mixed 19/5 & have just loaded a clean tank and it tastes exactly like MintChocChip awesomeness, not even a hint of lime like the other one.

Extremely bizarre what happened to the first bottle but actually I have become quite partial to the lime taste now so it won't get at all wasted

Big thumbs up to both vendors with their willingness to help sort this out and I can safely say that I 100% agree that Cyberpixie certainly has an amazing way with flavour combining, so much so that I have a little collection going on now

I haven't been selling the batch she got the first bottle from since she brought it up and I'll continue only selling the batch that TJ has just received a bottle from just to be sure. So if you order Mint Choc Chip then that's what you'll be getting - I hope no one's going to be difficult and ask to try the 'Lime Edition' now though.....

I don't know if this is any help because I can't see a batch number, but my bottle of mint choc chip (says best before April 2016) is giving me no Lime taste at all, just yummy mint choc chipness.

As an aside - the Belgian Choc Praline and Miss Chief are absolutely amazing
