Quick question on chewing vapor

I have freind who loves the smell of the vapor and really wants to try vaping..However!. he's not a smoker, he asked if you can just get the flavours etc without the nic and I didn't want to lie and say no etc..

I said it will still be going into your lung though etc..

soo.. my questions

if he just sort of chews the smoke and puffs on it for the flavour, but doesnt inhale will it still go in his lungs?

I imagine if he expelled the smoke out of his nose though it would still go in his lungs?

I know it would have no nicotene but Im worried if he started vaping he may want to try it with nicotene etc, and then end up addicted sort of thing...

Yes it will go into his lungs. Vaping shouldn't ever be taken up by non-smokers, only ex- smokers!

Thanks Anne.. is kinda what I thought.. I think the smell of the vapor and he saw all the flavours etc, kind of peeked his curiosity.. heh but I agree, its really only for folk who are ex-smokers and soon to be ex-smokers etc..

hmm. should be interesting to explain that, be the first time I ever felt guilty about vaping in front of someone hehe...

If he really insists on tryin it and he's a grown adult, then I'd 0 nic and tell him not to inhale.

yeah, Im gonna try and get him off the idea really I don't really want to go down that road, I will tell him it's NOT a good idea for a non smoker and fish out some other infos etc ,then leave him to it.. (heh, he's responcible then for his choices etc and at least he can make more informed one).

I will have to find a nasty vapor that smells like rotten fish next time he comes round haha..

Did you see the video of the guy who was vaping the crab flavour juice that Gordy posted? Show that to him, it should do the trick?

Just so you know, there are non-smokers who have been inhaling exactly the same kind of vapour for years and years, with no ill effects.

if he really wants to try then there are alot worse things he could do in life ...as long as he is aware that vaping isnt proven safe then its really up to him
