Well in my experience it's more to do with the air flow to match the coil, type of juice etc rather than simply turning down the power.

My kfl+ with a 0.5 ohm coil and single 18650 is usually gunked within a couple of days and needing rewicked etc, my dripper with a 0.07 ohm coil and single 18650 lasts months and that juice has even more sweetener than the kfl+ juice.

So yeh, I'd argue there's more to it. Mind you I'd argue even if I was on my own in an empty room
