Kanger Subtank Mini RBA Build

Hi guys
 
Another question from the Forum Thicko! I'm just getting the gear together to try my first microcoil build for the Kanger Subtank Mini. I've been looking at the superb guides on the Forum but am still a little confused (very easily done)! Please can someone tell me the difference between the two Kanger Subtank Mini guides on the Forum here.

Why is it that the two guides state different number of coil wraps? Greg's guide says 5 wraps whilst Tom's guide says 12 wraps! I'm probably overlooking something very obvious but I'd be very grateful if someone could explain the reason for the differences.

I'm using 5 wraps and getting on average 0.5 ohms. Not tried anyothers as I'm happy with 5

I think the difference mikemichelle is that Gregbs coil is a coil with slight spacing/gaps between the wraps and Toms is a microcoil with no spacing between the wraps, plus they both have different ohm readings, everything else is pretty much the same.

The only reason for the difference in number of wraps in the guide is that Tom was aiming for a higher resistance than I was.

His coil was almost two and times the resistance of mine and therefore he needed to use roughly 2.5 times as many wraps.
