Hi All This may be a stupid question but i bought a liter of 30/70 PG/VG pre mixed liquid.
I made a mistake so I now wnat to make 30ml, 50ml and 100ml of the two mixes of 60/40 and 70/30.
Please can someone tell me how much pg i need to add. I think think i got the 100ml sorted by using 70ml of the mix and then add 30ml of pg to make it 60/40.
My maths is crap and i cant seem to work out the rest, please can someone help as im new to this.
Thanks in advance
Ian

Once youve added PG based flavours and a PG based nic you probaly wont be far away from your desired Ratios.

Hi Thank you for your response
i cant see that adding the nic and flavor will turn my 30/70 to either 60/40 or 70/30. I get very confused when it come to mixing.
Many thanks Ian

All flavourings are in a pg suspension, and you often add between 10-20% flavour so that would move your ratio up *edit* on hindsight I am not understanding your post too well? have you bought an unflavoured 30/70 nicotine base? ... if so then by the time you add flavourings (in pg) you are moving towards your required pg/vg ratio. It honestly isn't a major problem, I vape all sorts of combinations. If you are adding your nicotine, then you will have to consider what base thats in (pg or vg) and take into account your percentage of flavour. Its a really complicated way of doing it - you would be better off in future having each ingredient separate but you wont notice massive amounts of difference I'm sure

Hi Pepperty So if i have 30/70 pg/vg and my flavor then nic that will bring my pg/vg up towards 60/40 or maybe 70/30.
Thank you Ian

It depends how much nicotine (in pg) you are adding but essentially - your 30/70 pg/vg mix will be drastically altered by the time you add in flavouring and nicotine IN PG. It'll be around where you want it, and dont wory about a few percent here and there! I tend to mix by eye and splish/splosh merrily

It all depends on what nic base you're using, what your target nic is, and what strength of flavouring you intend to use.
There are so many variables in there it's impossible to give you a definitive answer

What i would like is 40/60 or 30/70 PG/VG but whatever calculator i use it always says i can do that pg. I just dont understand. I guess i have the wrong NIC i think i should have got 100%VG. Thank you

Thank you 92/8 Nic? I'm confused... isn't your nic either PG or VG? Never seen a combination when the nic base is 72mg. Either way, if you want 15mg as your final Nic Strength, you need almost 21% nic base. With 20% flavouring, you will never be able to get 70% VG even if you just add pure VG and none of your premixed stuff. Still not entirely sure where you want to end up though as the post quoted says you want 60/40 PG/VG, then further down 40/60 or 30/70 PG/VG

72mg? is that correct (the 92/8% bit confuses me). if so to make 100ml of 15mg juice you will need 21ml of pg nic say 10% flavour which will be another 10ml of PG. 79ml of 30/70 PG/VG mix will give you a juice around 60/40.
