No problems. I'd rather not risk my compootah going belly up if there's a charging problem so the Mains plug is best for that, just stand the battery on a tray or a plate for "belt an braces" safety.

wildpolecat @ pedaldog check the manual on each mod to see what volts and mA it can handle and what output your wall charger outputs not all charging boards in mods are the same and neither are all USB wall chargers.

its the milliamp draw thats needed that you want to pay attention to, a usb2 port on a puter will chuck out a maximum of 500ma but could be as low as 350ma a indpendently powered usb hub or usb3 port could handle more power If your mod wants 1amp as some do it would be wisest to use a wall plug adaptor with a 1amp or greater power output, with dc currents your safe drawing less than the power rating of the supply but if your trying to draw more amps than the device is capable of pushing out there can be problems.

Saw a similar thread elswhere recently. It kinda depends on the device that you're charging. Some devices have the charger circuitry in the device itself.
One example, the 20w istick then, it asks for a 1amp draw so it doesn't really matter if the ad-dc plug is 1amp or 100amp because the istick's board is regulating the charge & will only pull that 1amp.
It would be good if manufacturers could include thet kind of info with the product, avoid some confusion.

It would also avoid accidents and fires when people use the wrong chargers with Egos and Evod style cheapos.
