24AWG (0.5mm), 6 wraps but not touching on a 3mm diameter would be my guess.

If you're trying to rebuild it exactly the same as they come then don't throw away the ceramic wicks either side of the coil, you'll be needing them again

Thanks *-SARIN-* just got to wait for the postie now, no 24 in my stock drawer, just a sad empty packet. Booo my stock system let me down. I did find a surprise unopened packet of Japanese cotton though

Were you trying to rebuild it the same as the original or with a horizontal coil? Build these with horizontal coils and they do tend to leak, but on the other hand building them vertical like the originals is a PITA.

hey people I have been successfully building my Atlantis coil heads using this method for months now and I've never had any trouble with leaks. Mind you I do use high VG Juice I'm not sure how it would perform with thinner juices. But it does work fine with 70+ vg.

Just on side note you don't have to use 24 awg. I've used ll kinds, 24, 26, 28,29 twisted 32.. Plus you don't have to stick to .5 ohms can still get a good hit off them as high as 2 ohms.
