The time has come again to make our disgruntled voices heard as we have done on previous occasions. The difference this protest will mark 1 year until the targeted date for implementation of the TPD.

So what should you do? GET YOUR FEET TO CASTLE SQAURE ON FRIDAY MAY 29TH!! APATHY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!

The previous advocacy/protest gathering have been poorly attended due to day or location. So, what is there in the pipe line to get more people there? Here is what is currently in the pipeline.

1 - RAFFLE!
Vendors have already been approached and are willing to donate. Tickets will cost 20p or £1 a strip. All raffle proceeds will go to a vaping related cause. Cause to be confirmed.

2 - POST PROTEST PUB SESSION - THE OFFICE, CASTLE GARDENS
The Office, one of Swansea's primary live music venues is vape friendly. The manager is 100% behind us and will let any protesters warm up with hot drinks and use of loos Tongue We are fully welcome in the evening until late. We also have free use of the PA to announce our raffle winners too. For all you Real Ale drinkers there is Hobgoblin, Doombar and Trooper. Tongue

3 - MEDIA COVERAGE
Local media will be contacted about this protest gathering. This will surely be a missed opportunity especially as e-cigs are becoming more and more public. If anybody has contact with media, please pass on details to them Big Grin

4 - MEET YOUR POLITICIANS (subject to free time)
By the 29th of May, the General Election will have its result for all local MPs. These elected MPs will get an open invitation. Local AMs will also receive an open invitation. This will be the perfect time for MPs and AMs to get told all your vaping related concerns and make sure they realise that vapers do not hide behind emails & social media.
