Mine hasn't been refunded yet, but perhaps it's because I had other items on the order... ?It appears that about 60 people here have been impacted, and the offset cost is around $10 gross (so probably $4 max nett) the reputational impact is 60*4 = $240. I'd have thought that would be a manageable amount for them to absorb, particularly in light of past history. I also realise some ordered more than one, for uncles / aunties / friends / backup / for selling on via the classies or fleabay for profit or whatever. If I was them I'd honor 1 for each order and offer a notional discount (maybe 10%) on the multiple orders. I mean you didn't buy it JUST because it was cheap did you? I don't believe anyone has been refunded yet pipeman01, that's one of the big problems. They send a message saying all orders have been cancelled and they wont be accepting payment when it has already been taken, then they leave people waiting for refunds. My order still says Processing and they haven't responded to my reply on their ticket.

Just checked......3.35am just now Ah, but it wasn't at 10am this morning when I replied to my ticket and asked them to confirm they would be making an immediate refund for the money they took from me last night. They took my payment and emailed confirmation, not only of my order, but also receipt of payment, late last night. They haven't responded to my reply on my ticket. As has been said before, after the debacle with the subtanks a few days ago, and assurances that it wouldn't happen again, I think they should have sucked it up and written the relatively small loss off as a goodwill gesture. As it stands, Gearbest as a company, don't have too much goodwill here right now.

I feel really sorry for isabel22 she is the unfortunate person that takes the proverbial kicking on behalf of her company. However what infuriates me is the blatant lie in the statement that Kbox was an out of date code. Fine if the message read sorry we screwed up and we can't sell them at this price I,and I'm sure many others, would grin and accept it. It's the lie and the failure to instantly refund monies that grips my sh-t.

The email I received was sent just at the end of their working day stating they will not take the money when they already had. Also that I needed to reply to their ticket which they would attend to within 24 hours. Nothing about any refund for the payment. I replied immediately with a screen shot of payment they had and requested an immediate refund to my PayPal account. Of course their working day was over so nothing has happened since.

The code was originally to bring down the site price to about £14.20 but sometime over the last couple of days they dropped the site price to £16 odd so the code still reduced the site price by the same amount as it did before the drop hence we ended up at $6 a piece. So, not an out of date code as isabel22 posted it a few days ago but a bit of a blunder all the same as they have crossed promotions on the same item.

I'm sure she is but it's again hardly professional behavior to not address the issue and what is the excuse for the rest of gearbest? only i haven't noticed anyone here say they've had a reply on the ticket. I'm sure a number of the 45 people on the list didn't reply to the ticket and are just waiting for their money to be refunded but i know for sure i replied to the ticket and have not had a reply back, i would guess at least some others replied to their ticket even if only to inquire why again they accepted payment even though they state they aren't accepting payment and when a refund would be issued. I said in my opening post i don't for a second hold isabel22 personally responsible for the cock up and i doubt anyone else does either but being met with a wall of silence is now just another mark against gearbest in my eyes. I'm fully confident i'll get the money back but every move gearbest makes just makes them look more and more unprofessional as a business which is a damned shame, they have a lot of positives in their favour like product range and prices but the stock/website management and customer service is atrocious.
