what wattage do you vape at??

33 - 40 W on the Origenny with nickel, 28 W with Kanthal 30 W with nickel on the Kraken, 15 W with Kanthal 22 W with nickel on the Orchid, and 11 W on Kayfuns.

This one comes up quite often, but something I think is critical is not usually mentioned - the nicotine strength of the liquid you are using. I used 36mg juice for a long time and settled on about 9 Watts for that. I now use 24mg juice and my Wattage is usually now about 11 or so. I've tried sub ohm/ high power vaping and I had to halve the nic content to cope with that but I found that didn't really suit me. I'd guess that there is a relationship here and linked to that would be the amount of juice/ amount of vaping you do as I'd also guess that I'd vape much more if I used lower nic juice. Personally I like to just have the occasional toot so I've settled on relatively high nic level juice and a vaping setup that suits that.

Obviously everyone varies but it would be interesting to see how these different factors relate in general.

I think I'm a wuss! 1.6 ohm coil, 12 mg liquid, around 12 watts!

On the clouper i'm at 28 watts 1ohm and on the m80 42 watts .6 coil, alcohol makes the no's go up. currently 5mg nic, may make 6mg next time.

I`m at 18 mg strength usage with all my vaping. Was 24 mg 30 months ago.

No intention of going lower, unless TPD artl 20 is enforced.

my nic levels are 6-8mg for own mixes, and upto 12mg on bought juice, my smoking was cut back from 20+ per day to 6-9 per day over the last few years, im vaping way more than i would smoke - its fun + less of a health risk hence the lower concentrations,, currently puffing on a 8mg diy mix of blackurrent juice 60/40 VG/PGbase @19.1w, i tend to crank the power down to 12-15w in the morning and crank up bit by bit during the day for some reason but rarely go beyond 25w,

I did crank up the other day to 'show off' to a pal who then complained about the fruit smell when the clouds dissipated

I cant help but think that some of the vids out there reviewing gear that end up with a billowing cloud blown at the camera can instil a bit of 'cloud envy' amongst some of us men of a certain age

And the whole coil building and variety of atty's and battery holders ( why do i resist the use of the word mod for what is essentially a battery holder??) is well targeted at 'boys' looking for toys.. just like pokemon etc instil the collecting bug in kids, atty's n paraphernalia appeal in a similar way to bigger boys perhaps.. ( You gotta get em all hehe)

I think by the time the current load of vapemail arrives from china i will be all toyed up for the foreseeable future, But i already doubt my ability not to get all clicky with the buying finger when tempted by some of the links posted in here.. we shall see

All my mixes are now 3 mg in strength, and I have noticed a rise in the wattage I am vaping at from a previous of around 14-22w, now mostly 24-30w and it's fantastic .

All my desert type vapes will be between 8.5 & 10w, coils range between 1.3- 1.8ohms depending on Attie.

Temp control is normally 15-30w but that's irrelevant cos when the temperature has been reached the mod will reduce power .

Sub ohm cloud chasing does absolutely nothing for me and high voltage- low ohm vaping ruins the flavour of my liquids

I will however go to 30-50w on a 2.7-3ohm coil, that I find provides a much smoother vape but it eats the battery power and tends to need a primer puff to get the coil to heat up.

On the rare occasion that I use multi coils then I find that you need a good 45-50w through a .4ohm set up to get them function properly

Depends on the power level what nic level I use. The super high airflow cloud monsters need as many watts as you can throw into them.

My preferred device hasn't enough airflow for above 65W (4mg nic)

But also works with a single coil at 15W (6mg). The flavour is better at 15W but the vapour satisfies more at 65W

Taste buds must be playing a part too - I vape 12mg juice usually either 60/40 or 50/50 protanks and protank minis with coils ranging between 1.4 and 1.9 I vape as low as 3 watts with some juice but tend to settle around the 5 watt mark on my isticks and 6.5 watts on the MVP highest I ever go on anything is 8 watts! Honestly I get plenty of cloud and flavour at the lower ranges and the vape is cooler which I prefer.

wow duno how you folks can vape so high i started on 12ni killed my throat over 10watts dropd nic to 6 i average 8 to 20watts on the istick with nano or mini on my dripper 30watts max slightly high on 3nic its just to hot for me reaching wattage of around 50 plus would rip my lungs up i must just be a pussy i guess

Depends what ohm the coil is, but 1.6 - 1.8 ohm i vape between 12 and 14 watts.

Depends on the build but right now rocking a twisted 29 gauge single coil at 0.95 ohms and ooh it's producing a nice thick flavorsome vape at 22 watts 3mg nic

Difficult question as it depends on the juice,mod,tan or dripper,nic lvl and mood.

On my SIG 100+ I use my subtank mini with RBA 0.7 ohm coil about 20-25 w primarily with Heisenberg.
Kennedy dripper 0.4 ohm 50-80w depending on which juice.
On my 2 isticks I have 1 with kayfun lite and other with rose v2 and anything between 14-18w again juice dependent as I chop and change after each tank normally.
Mech mods well that's coil dependent and battery power will decrease as used so does power but I use kayfun or lemo2 could at 1.2 ohms.
Not used much now but I used to run my protanks with microcoil heads at about 15w on average.
I have dropped my nic lvl from 12 -6 across all my tanks but use 3 mg in drippers.
