Just a quick question about lifespan of some base mix. I've been given some base mix by a great member here as a freebie, it's 20mg unflavoured base but the manufacture date is Feb 2013. Is this safe to mix up with some concentrate?

The general assumption is that nicotine base can last indefinitely if stored in a freezer. If you are in any doubt, go by the smell (same as food really).

Mix a small tester. If it tastes rank then bin it, otherwise it'll be fine

Nothing to lose - try a small sample as suggested; if it tastes OK, then go for it!

You did say they were old but I'm just checking to see what people say before I mix something up. Many thanks for your generosity.

Most people saying what I expected, suck it and see should be ok. I'll trying some concentrates I've never used before so might end up with something bad either way. I'm always up for a challenge.

Manufactured date Feb13 so best before would be two years after that so only just out of date providing stored in dark & cool. On top of freezers can get warm in my experience but it'll have a slightly noxious honk if it's gone bad & nic content may have degraded a tad. I'd give it a whirl anyway in a small sample, you'll soon know.

Rather than use a new flavour use one that you know how it should taste, that way you will get a good comparison.
