I've had no strange tastes at all, only used the ½ohm OCC, not primed it, just filled the tank and away I went, and I can empty the tank without any bother as well.
I love them, far more flavour than I'm used to and the airflow (wide open) is spot on.
I've ordered a couple of minis from FT hoping for more of the same

Sometimes a new head will taste of er........ cotton. Depends where the cotton is from but it isn't a problem, just vape through it.

Top Tip for the OCC heads, don't vape anything with, custard, strawberry, coffee, pear drops or cream, if you do that IMO and in my experience you're coil will only last 24 hrs ( give or take ) before its clogged up and needs changing. I've ran out of SB MM and I'm now finding that even after THREE days the coil is still very good.

I'm very used to the taste of new cotton.....but this was a bit different. It's gone now.....didn't last long. On another note.........the 0.5 OCC head is superb. And now that I know it's rebuildable quite easily I'm a very happy cookie.

My Subtank plus prize has finally arrived, took a while but well worth it. Checked Kangertech site and confirmed it is the genuine article. Some good news about Gearbest for a change. Will play around with it for a few hours to check it out.

I bet you love it sydsutI'm very pleased with mine........wasn't sure I'd get on with it.......and the rba deck needs some work for airflow.......but the 0.5 OCC head and 27 watts really does the business

I could if I'd done it The way I understand it......you dremel out 2 bits of the metal in the base .......on each side........to turn the 4 holes into 2 slots Then deepen the juice channels in the side I think it was decoy that had done it

Cheers, i had noticed that the draw using the rba head was more constricted, im currently using the 1.2 ohm head as i managed to dry burn the 0.5 ohm head, ive tried to recoil the burnt coil head but its not so easy.. getting the coil in is one thing, wicking is another..
