Mine does. I can't see any reason to not tell them tbh. He said "well done" and "that's those new things, isn't it?" And that was the entire conversation.
My dentist said about the same thing. But he was much happier than the doctor.

Mine doesn't know, basically because I haven't been to the doc's since I started vaping but I would tell anyone who asks when/if the time comes

My thoracic surgeon caught me red handed if that counts. He commended me, and said that more people should. I believe my g.p is slave to him, when it comes to such.

Told my Dr, and he could not have been happier "Excellent" & "well done" were mentioned , even gave my Dentists assistant a Janty 510-T to use (still using it).. not to mention my "care at home" therapist who now sports a SB after i got her onto e-cigs. But i have taken the time to explain fully what they are (e-cigs) , and what they do, except for the Dr who knew about them, admittedly though i do see my health professionals a lot.

GP dosen't know I vape. None of their business basically.
I remember once tho' when I was seeing an asthma consultant, I told him I smoked & had no intention of quitting, he nearly fell off his chair. Obviously he'd never had anyone be so adament they weren't giving up the ciggies lol.

Had to answer No as I haven't told him but its not because I dont think its his business or anything but just that I havent seem him recently.
If I did see him and he asked are you still smoking I would tell him but if he didn't ask I'd probably just forget to mention it as it wouldn't be on my mind.

Told my GP 3 years ago that I had bought an e-cig & demonstrated it to her. She was just so happy for me that I had found an alternative to smoking. I told her that the e-liquid contained nicotine & her reply was - "Nicotine isn't the harmful ingredient in cigarettes".

My GP reviewed my asthma a few weeks ago. He seemed thrilled that I'd quit smoking back in November, I went on to explain that I'd used e-cigarettes and how effective I thought they were in comparison to all other NRTs. His response was 'So what are they?'
Hmmmphh! Well, at least he knows now.

Told my whole team.... Only bad comment after trying to get one GP with a load of sons to make me a VV (in December) was 'it'll be good when you're no nic'... - otherwise they are chuffed to bits. I was a 'hopeless' case on the pharma stuff. Often told to go back to the cigs as it made me a bit unwell coming off cigs.. Vape every medic appt. Vape on the ward when I visit. Have an arrangement with the ward when I get admitted (dv not any time soon ) that all my juice and syringes etc will go in the pharmacy and to be handled by no one but me to avoid patient/nurse overdose. They are fine with that. Had various discussions via email with the tobacco control officer of the trust. The trust is not sending vapers outside any time soon .... So will cut and paste this thread for him....and also my medics.... If they even come close they know I will get one of the big suppliers onto them again ....tee hee...then it'll be all over the web rofl.
