I use my coiler for touching coils or spaced coils collie2011. Easier to make spaced ones on the coiler than a drill bit. How do you make spaced coils on the coiler tim 2 ways sydsut either don't use the top cap so you are just using the rod as a former, or make a microcoil, take the top cap off and gently pull on first and last wraps of of the coil until they separate and open up.

Or use 2 wires to make 2 parallel coils. Split them when done and you have 2 perfectly spaced coils (I learned that here on this forum)

How do you make spaced coils on the coiler tim I just hand wrap manually, without the top part. Easier to hold than a drill bit. Mine isn't a Kuro, but looks the same. Can't remember the name. Got it from Puremist with their name on it. It has the different sized mandrels which you change. 1.5mm up to 3.5mm in 0.5mm steps. I have also made a microcoil and then stretched it out a bit for spaced coils. Easier to hand wrap if you have the dexterity. Stretching them out is fiddly too. Mostly I make micros for tanks. Only make spaced for drippers (squonking). (I'm working on a way of making spaced coils with the *kuro* style coilers atm, not quite right yet)
