Hi hissie

Cartomisers and tank it's a tried and tested method of vaping (a lot of the current atomiser set ups are based on a 'tank' system) .... so if it works for you then that's all that matters.

I often use and enjoy the carto and tank set up to vape, (just recently bought a S&P tank off a member on here) I find it can be a lot less hassle than all the re-coiling, wicking etc of the more 'up to date' recent gear that I also use.

Where do/did you get your carto's from?

I appreciate that carto tanks are quite rare now, but I do recall several threads in the past where peeps were having problems with boge carto's. There are loads out there that love carto's, not for me but for faff free when they work they are stunning.

For newer vapers you have to realise that the pace of change in the last 6 months is stunning. When I started carto tanks were the sub tanks etc of the day.

I'm a new vaper to many but these carto things are not working for the guy or girl..."nicotine withdrawal" i did start on iclear16s and if I stayed on them and didn't hang around this forum I would possible still be using them...! anyway.....higher nicotine mg is required or better nicotine delivery to kill of the withdrawal, no vapor indicates the latter is required to me?

Struggling to imagine what could go wrong. Are you sure it's not just the old vacuum effect ? They can be slow to prime & sometimes when put in the tank, if the tank is full to the brim it can create a vacuum & halt the priming. When i used them i made sure the carto was soaked through before putting it in the tank. You sound like you know them better than me anyway. If your battery connections are are all ok then it's either that or as suggested, a dodgy batch.....Dunno !

I used cartos for a time, and found the vacuum effect was a killer too. Try soaking the carto but not to the brim, as above, and make sure that you see bubbles rising through the tank when you give a hard short suck through the driptip. It may be that you need to up to power a bit to get the coil firing satisfactorily too.
Please don't be offended hissie, if your vape works (apart from at the moment!) then you are satisfied, and so are we. If you have problems, we'll try to help you if we can, but with respect to many of our newer members, cartos and tanks are a mystery.
Out of interest what cartos are you using? Single or double coil, and at what ohm rating? Also can you tell us what wattage/voltage you vape at, so we can best work out what might be wrong?

I should have also said that you may have a dud batch of cartomisers - it happens, and I remember happily opening a bod of 5 XXL pre-punched cartos only to find that all 5 were cr@p! Treat yourself to another box and see if that makes a difference?

Vaper's Tongue.. I read about it when I had a similar problem.
Not 100% sure but maybe this is causing you the issue?
I often use strong minty ejuice to fix when a similar thing happens.
Google Vaper's tongue fix and you can find a lot of suggestions!

Perhaps it is time to be using the LR Boge Carto's hissie, at least you will get a throat hit with them, and try upping the mg of your liquid to see if that makes any difference, can't have you having nothing satisfying to vape.
