Hmm just tried mine and it does indeed show a flat battery if the battery is removed in Eco mode, changed to standard and rebooted all ok again, so they do indeed have a bug in the software.

They should be able to sort out that little bug easy enough, least they haven't taken your mods down.....sounds you guys have had great fun doing this one so im sure you will enjoy doing all it again in a few days.... Something you can't with the DNA40 so this feature still keeps me interested this mod... Have they changed the temperature settings?

I think they have certainly done something as it seems me to be very similar to the VS Rdna at similar wattage, which on mine was not the case before the update, still never had a dry hit either way. not too bothered about the Eco blip, as it's easily rectified as you say, but I love a challenge so look forward to the next update

Just updated mine, I have the same depleted battery when shutting down in eco mode I don't notice any difference in the power/temp settings, I'm still setting temp to 320f to get the same vape as a dna set to 400f I still find pulse width modulation a harsher vape compared to the flat signaled dna When updating I couldn't get anything to work until I put the unzipped update folder into the program file. I could find the file via the sx consul but it just hung on updating and went no further, I left it for 15mins before I intervened. As soon as I put the file into the program folder the update was instant Apart from turning off the gravity sensor I can't really find any new features that are of a benefit to me and even the gravity sensor was something that I had gotten used to so I left it turned on Oh well, let's hope the next update provides something worthwhile

I have been having some problems since my upgrade, I keep getting low resistance when I fire the device. I have spent all afternoon building and rebuilding coils, tightening and re-tightening the screws that hold the coil. I would get the low resistance message but by loosening the attie by about a turn, it would fire fine, put the mod down and go to it 5 minutes later and get the low res again. I finally worked out that the upgrade had reset all my settings and had gone back to vw rather than TC although I had not noticed when looking at the screen. blakey I think the temperatures have changed. I had been vaping at 300f 35j from new and getting a great vape but since changing back to TC after my schoolboy error, post upgrade today, I have had to turn the temperature up to 400f which is similar to my Chinaflask. I dont have a VS mod to compare but I am getting the same vape at 100f higher since the upgrade. One more thing.......the range of power settings are out of order since the upgrade. Eco- Standard- Powerful Plus -Powerful, the last two being logically the wrong way round.

Mine is set to 320f to give the same as the DNA at 400, to be fair, I was setting mine to 300f before the upgrade so there is some difference. I'll have a look at my power settings when I get home. Still prefer the DNA for a smoother vape in temp control.

Lol i had the same yesterday i took a toke not bothering to check the screen and bleedin ell 40J right up the jacksy! Just as a heads up there's a fix for the eco mode battery depleted bug over on POTV (hope i can put that here) in the Everything Ecig forum, it seems the OP was sent the file by YIHi, but be aware its titled as a test file! I upgraded to that new file and can confirm that it has indeed resolved the issue, but you may want to wait until it becomes available on the Yihi site, as i was prepared to take the risk with it. The range of power settings are still out of order though

Seems to have improved a bit, but the battery life was never an issue for me in the first place. I still need to change it daily, but get a good few hours of pretty constant vaping compared to before.
I wish they would sort the power settings into the correct order ie Powerful+ after Powerful , as it's the opposite way around at the moment. Good to see firmware updates (albeit with a couple of bugs) as I think this is one area where Yihi are ahead of the competition.

I have both the original Sxmini and the Sxmini M class. My battery life seemed better before the upgrade. I was getting about 24k Joules off both my Minis before I did the upgrade and now the M class with this latest update is only giving me about 11k Js of work off each battery. I too have the Eco issue, haven't noticed the settings be out of order but I'm sure they are.
I tried to downgrade back to the original firmware but am getting an error somewhat like the one when Yihi had the upgrade files mixed up.
jh, is the v2.21 file that Yihi sent you a beta?
