I noticed NV are advertising a new tank on their website, the main selling point seems to be it has AFC.
I've got a few NV Midi Pro tanks and they're my favourite tanks but the constant leaking out of the 510 connector drives me mad and I find the draw a bit too airy sometimes
Has as anyone used one of the new tanks yet? Hopefully it'll be like the Midi Pro but with AFC although the price is a lot less and the coils don't look so easy to rewick as the old ones

I agree, it does look like the Kanger, but the coil seems to be totally different. Is the advantage NV tanks have down to the coil. So could I put one of those NV coils in the Aerotank MOW and would it work as well as a Midi Pro? The coil looks totally different to any other I've seen, more like the Aspire BVC carto style coil
I find Kanger tanks perform much better withNV coils but still not as well as the Midi Pro with the same coil.
Totally confused now.
Prr, can you re-coil the NV coils so they are as good as the original? I did one myself but the coil I used wasn't anything like the NV coil. I used An N-R-N coil but the NV coil seem to be much thicker and longer, so more surface area to heat up. I don't have the ability to make a decent N-R-N coil so I used a Pre-made one from FT

HaroldTheBarrel, I only use res kanthal, the coils are pretty good. I have just ordered .32 mm kanthal and these will be much sturdier than the .25 I have been using. On average I get about 2-3 months out of a .25 coil at about 1.6 ohm at 12 watts, re wick about twice a week.

Thanks. That's a very kind offer and I'll take you up on it once I've identified the coils most in need of it. I guess it'll also cure the leaking problem, which I assume is caused by the insulator bush not sealing properly once it gets a bit tired.
