Mine's OK, it is just par for the course with clones IMO there is always a bit of luck involved as the component and QA quality is not going to be the same, but we want cheap mods and most have been lucky with this model. But I would expect a replacement or refund shouldn't be a problem for your one drunkenbum as it's the first day, but I think blakey's gave up the ghost a good while ago and he can't be bothered.

I would hope so VapingBad. It's a shame as the mod feels nice in the hand

The screen updating is strange, sometimes you think you power locking at the level shown then it goes 0.1 up or down after. A bit like @spikeyfridge and me both thinking the screen rotation wasn't working at first as the screen shows "Left mode" at first then goes to normal display for a couple of seconds before displaying "Right mode".
No biggie, just a bit clanky.

Great value, out of the temp limiting mods I have owned I would give it 7 out of 10, Evolv DNA40 8.5 out of 10 and YiHi SX Mini M Class 3 out of 10, this is purely for the temp limiting and associated features. Big no no for the sx mini then glad that i am on here, I really fancied one of those will now look at different options cheers Glen VapingBad still uses watts, bit like we did in 2014..... Just saying....

i'm using mine with kanthal, nothing really to report except the ohms seems to move a small bit over multiple fires...i.e. 0.76....0.81....0.73 etc. If this is unique to mine I'll take it apart and redo all the connections. Chirp up if you have this too..
Also, it seems to like fahrenheit...when swopping changing batts/removing the atty and putting it back...it'll ask new coil/same coil. I pick same coil...I fire..it shows a temp in fahrenheit instead of volts for wattage/kanthal...keep fire button pressed and after about 2 seconds it realises its kanthal and should be showing volts.
There are screws right deep inside the battery tubes..adjust them up and down and your battery will sit deeper or shallower, which means you can align your caps. tip: it'll fire just fine with one battery...so take out BOTH batteries when adjusting the screws...it's just a good idea generally. It is also lighter with just one battery.
apart from that, I'm reasonably happy with it.

I've just changed the battery's in mine, only thing to report is.. My fingers are red from the battery covers, sorted now nice and shiny . Working flawlessly (so far) with no issues at all, infact it's really in my good books. Tried TC and that seems to also work very well, even got the temp warning alarm. Still not sold on TC but I've got two mods that will do it now. Brilliant battery life, better than I've ever had out of any dual mod, just shy of a full day ! And I'm a heavy vaper

The temp limit moves about a bit, I sometimes have to tweak the 510 after it's been sitting for a while, it's easy to spot the vape changes and temp limit comes in differently. Maybe this is a little like the problems some Evolv users had with refinement mode, I only ever got very minor drifts with the Evolv and I think rm tunes it back again. I have chosen same coil every time with this so it is behaving like it has resistance lock and get much larger drifts than the first gen Evolv, 510 probs IMO my DNAs both have VariTube connections. It has catch me out a couple of times when I though the connection was out and it was an empty tank, I use a steel tank genesis.
Still good value.
E: I have polished the top centre pin which was not as flat using/smooth as I would like in a dremel with autosol on paper against some flat plastic and first impressions are a better connection. Not a fan of slotted pins, but have them on both the atty and mod in this case loosing a bit of contact area.
