black sambuca (my tipple of choice as a youngster) is pretty much straight up aniseed. I bought a 30ml bottle of aniseed concentrate from the ebay vendor that we all use...(name was something about cakes related..memory forgets but the bottle wasnt round...sort of oval from the top with a white cap)...its a very strong flavour that transfers the flavour to vaping easily (aniseed that is....kinda like menthol in that respect..it vapes well and taste strong), so go at 5% first.

why not just use the existing through holes for the buttons? the silkscreening is there..the tracks are in place...am I missing something? Pop one of those wires through the holes, solder both sides..etc.

say that again...it felt really good after a crappy day at work:-) Did you manage to mod it ok though?
no problems, glad to help. I can alternate between the modded and unmodded and maybe I'm thick but the difference isnt so much..HOWEVER, the modded one looks ten times better without the plastic showing.

pure coincidence for me as we dont have an Aldi local to us...except they opened one up today so me and the wife popped in to see what we could see wood lather..£69...lots of other man tools, petrol strimmers...cooking stuff and then I saw this www.aldi.co.uk/en/specialbuys/thur-13-aug/product-detail/ps/p/professional-organiser-2/its quite a big box, but not tall, so it'll slide under the bed/couch easily enough...7 large compartments with a whole stack of small little dividers. I think it's perfect for a vaper's large collection of tools, cotton, wires, attys, drip tips, coils, orings and even eliquid. I got one, very happy with it. P.S> I think this is on deal for today only, thursday 13th August, so make hay and get one if there is an Aldi on your route

I take the ring off and then visually figure out where the largest setting is in relation to the engraving. On mine, the H of CHALICE is where it is at the widest. I seldom adjust it, so thats that for me...but you can also just suck through it while moving the ring to get a good feel

the bit I wrote about going down to 0.2ohms was a tad incorrect...the spring starts taking strain and identified itself as a weak spot with voltage drop. Solution is laughably simple and ingenious (and wasnt my idea) remove the spring, sand the area where the spring was back to bare metal, find an automotive blade fuse..around the 10a to 20a mark. (use ohms law to find your ideal value that'll work with your atty and still act as a fuse. Bend the tabs 1 up and 1 down and put it like so (not my photo, not my idea) a spare fuse can be bent in a similar way and placed between the top of the bottle and battery for when it may be needed. Solves the volt drop issue at low ohms, and protects your mech mod!

my son really liked a particular tshirt on chinabuye...he's 16, slimmish build and about 5foot9 we bought a XL after finding some conversion charts..it arrived and fits, but I would say its a wee bit on the small side of "fits". I think chinabuye do more clothing than you would realise, and I remember there was a tshirt conversion chart on their site somewhere...giving inches around shoulders, tummy etc so you can work out yourself (with a tape measure) roughly what size to get. hope this helps...rule of thumb seems to be buy 2 to 3 sizes bigger than you would in the UK. e.g. size chart midway down this listing www.chinabuye.com/unisex-short-sleeve-sleeved-printing-funny-big-hand-t-shirt-tee

creole got a haircut today...used the side of a fine grinding wheel on a bench grinder and just went for it. Stripped the mod first of all the bits, used one of my 22mm attys which I judged to have a centre pin not too low and not too high (based on all my other attys).....grinded down the reo juice well until it fitted nicely and made electrical contact
Time: about 10 minutes....its aluminium, soft, so just rather go slowly and make a nice job of it. I turned the mod a few times so that I wasnt grinding in one direction all the time, in case I was holding it slightly skew. Surprisingly easy to get it right just by hand
And I can now say: "stay above 0.5ohm" is bollocks. Running it at 0.2ohm for around 3 hours now, and the only side effect is the whole mod heats up now when giving it big guns for a long time (aluminium conducts heat very well, hence they use it for baking trays and so on)...when dry burning this dripper for about 5 minutes on a mostly dead battery the spring did also feel hot when I removed the battery. I'll keep an eye on that. But in use, with the 5 second vape every half minute/minute, its as happy as larry.
My gearbest reo is nowhere to be found though:-( still hasnt arrived. Shipped on the 5th
