Excellent video , it also showed me that I've been making my coils on too small a screwdriver. Probably strangling my wick!! Thanks again everyone for all your help xx Are you back in happy vape land now jacq? Still struggling with it! Not very well coz I suffer with depression to name just one and can't seem to get my head around trying again and again ???? Seems what ever I do I can't get it right but when I feel up to it ( and my hands aren't shaking too much!) I'll have another go. I got it right the first time I tried, beginners luck, and it was brilliant so I'm aiming for this again as I love the kayfun when it works! Thanks to everyone for their help!

Use cellulose wick works like a charm. I've been using Fibre Freaks 80% vg up to 18 watts no dry hits at all. Sorry to be thick but what cellulose wick and where could I get some from? Willing to try anything if it works!

Willing to try anything if it works! cellulose wick is rayon Rayon is a manufactured fiber made of cellulose. Created as an alternative to silk, it's made from wood pulp. I use www.chefsvapour.co.uk/diy-supplies/2748-fiber-freaks-cotton.html . It's a bit more expensive than organic cotton but it's totally worth it I think so anyway. Basically follow the same method that guy shows in the video but use rayon instead of cotton and everything will be tickedy boo for you.

If you are not working and prepared for the stress I'd give yourself 2 weeks of periodic playing with this wick jacq. I don't work due to mental health and I generally allow 2-4 weeks with a new tank to get the wicking right as even on single coil stuff there's quite a few variables that can affect it. Think I have my KFL+ sorted for now but it's early days Hugs Jane

I recently had some very good results with a KFL/rayon build using the method of cutting the wick tails close to the coil, so that they fluff out (rayon does this naturally) and don't obscure the juice channels.

It may sound really daft and simple jacq but make sure the chimney is on properly else it will flood and flood till all the blowing and whacking makes it dry... I've had that particular problem all am. Only realised what it was at 2pm!

New wick at 2pm....back flooding. This is no fun... When it wicks it wicks well - otherwise it's a derriere. It either tends to want a new wick every battery change or else it's flooding so much I'm having to change the wick 3-4 times a day It's pants!!! and I'm using jap cotton cos I like it - vape budget and all that remember JAne

Here's hoping I've fixed the problem with some cotton balls I had handy
as per this video -
Fingers crossed!!!
otherwise if I am to use jap cotton I'm thinking it may need priming?
