Securing dna40 screen in bezel

Hi all im having a go at making my first dna 40 box mod, Holes all drilled in hammond box and have bought a shapeways screen bezel but unsure how i can secure this into it.
All a bit fiddly and with fingers like sausages worried i may break the screen.
how do you guys hold your screens in please ?

Sounds familiar A pic would confirm if its the same one I used on a Hammond box/Bezel mod some time ago. That bezel was held on by very tiny screws. I have a shedload of the wee things knocking about the place.

There isnt any screws on my one davetherayon drill hole and epoxy in, paid more for the postage than the item but wanted to do it right.

Get yourself a roll of foam number plate tape and stick it over the back. It sticks like poop to a blanket.

Thankyou @windows have some in the man cave my misses works for a car company. If i peeled the backing off could i stick the main board to the otherside aswell make things nice and neat ?

Dont see why not. I would add a bit of epoxy along the edges once you have it in place.

Ok nearly all done putting in the chip tonight a quick question please do i take the little red tape film off the dna40 screen or will it help to protect it. TIA

I normally take them off.

Defiantly take that off it is just a screen protector for while it's transported and when you are trying the board out for fit.

Well the chip and screen is in wow that was fidderly and a small amount of epoxy to secure the chip, thanks windows for the tip just the battery sled to fit in tomorrow then pop a battery in it and fingers crossed

Hi all its all done and working feeling pretty chuffed with myself. Could someone have a look at the insides please make sure all looks good and any surgestions welcome. I done the swirl paint from a utube video i see which come out pretty well i think. Hope you like......Damn cant post pics on mobile will post up when home from work.
