So I want t buy something from FT where PayPal is not accepted. I DO NOT want to use my credit card due to the problems that some have experienced. I read you can get Gift Certificates to use by buying something, then cancelling your order generating a gift certificate.
I want a $75.62, how would you do this?
TIA

DiscoDes, it seems that you make an order to the value of what you want using PayPal, cancel it & they give you a gift certificate to that value (quite quickly) then you just order your new toy.
ETA: It came up in the last couple of days, this from VapingBad.....
In future if you have something on FT that wont allow PayPal you can choose something else at the same price and buy that with PP, then immediately cancel to get a gift certificate which you can use for the original item. You get the gift cert straight away and don't have to wait for a support ticket or customer service person.

Hi jess yes, I understand that but is there an easy way to generate a gift certificate to a specific amount? I.E. in this case $75.62?

A couple of items here for that value www.fasttech.com/category/3099/e-cigarettes/-/p/2/just order one then cancel it, of course if you can't find the right value with a single item you can just buy several items to value then cancel the order.

You can use what's left of a gift certificate on your next order, any remaining credit is still valid so you don't have to get the amount exactly right and use it only once

This worked for me, just click the paypal button and it will take you to checkout.

Just made an other order and it was a bit of a hassle using PayPal, I had to add to cart then deselect from cart , as I was being shown a Norton security thing from fastech, order processed I've had confirmation e-mail
