Giz, how are you finding your LT?

Don't worry, my batteries seem to last about the same time, 2 18650's in a day often, easy and I'm not even using that much juice.


I've got 2 AW Imr's 1600 and still have to occasionally go back to the no brands I got with the LT kit.
And in fact, they seem to last a little longer than the AW's.



So if you cut the plug off an euro lead and presumeably both wires look the same, how does a multimeter tell you which is which? Unless the wires are colour coded (I haven't tried doing it yet)

with the lead does it plug into the charger with a fig 8 connector or directly wired ?

if fig 8 then just buy one for a quid or so off ebay... if directly then the wire will be colour coded red/brown live... blue/black neutral

How come some people can get days out of a battery?

Liking the VV but still not used it above 4.2! If I cranked it up as far as it goes my batteries would probably only last an hour

It says on the batteries that they are 3000 mah! Can you buy 10000 mah ones?

It depends on what voltage you are vaping at, what ohm attie/carto you use and how often you vape.
As a guide, I build a 2.ohm coil and vape at 3.9-4.2v all day on the lavatube and a normal AW IMR18650 1600mah will last me about 12-14hrs. An AW IMR 2000mah will last me the day. I am quite a heavy vaper.

It's no problem at all but it does explain why the battery doesn't last too long, Think about how long that button on the lavatube is activated for each time you take a puff (this is different for each person) and if you are using it constantly with say a 4-5 sec draw on each inhale then you're going to be draining quite a bit of power as opposed to someone who takes a 2-3sec draw. If you are the type to just take a few puffs and put it down for a while then you won't be using anywhere near as much power. That's why the experience is different for each person

The lavatube IS a big battery mod If you want vv or regulated voltage that doesn't drop as the battery charge dwindles then at the moment you aren't going to do much better than what you have there. If you want to spend money then the kick will be released soon which turns most mechanical 18650 mods into a vv or vw device but it would mean that you have to use a smaller battery to accommodate it with the exception of the ggts which has enough room inside to take an 18650 with the kick. It's going to be a little while before all the mod makers catch up and either upgrade their designs to allow for the kick or provide extensions to their original mods that people can purchase as an add on. If you dont care about regulated voltage or vv then you can get any from a vast array of mechanical big battery mods and just use the highest mah 18650 you can find. In the mean time, Just get a couple more battery's and keep a couple of spares in your pocket That's what I do
