I've used it exclusively since I bought it in March, but mow the 510 socket is coming adrift! Is there any quick repair, or is it the end of the road? It exactly suits my Vaping needs, but I'm loath to get another if the same thing is going to happen. Are there any similar size VV/VWs on the market that are more robust? A higher wattage more expensive model would be acceptable if it stands up to my rough treatment.

If you have not broken the negative link to the board you could take the black plastic cover off, clean the 510 and inside of the case and enforce it with epoxy to stop the 510 moving. But if you have broken you can try and realign it and resolder, but you will need a high powered soldering iron.

Thanks for the reply VapingBadIt still works, but the tanks are very wobbly. I'd thought about epoxy resin, but wondered if it would be man enough for the job. Would any epoxy do, or should I get a specific one? Jim

It might need a couple of layers and I would use a standard epoxy, the fast stuff form pound land dries a little soft. Something like glass fibre to re-enforce it would be good, but tricky with the limited space.

No, sorry Jim, it would have to be small & shallow or have a spacer to make it higher buy a fair bit to use a varitube or Fat Daddy. StealthVape may have some small 510s. You could try @windows or decoy I think they may have done something with the 510s in these.

Just had a look in one of my cloupors jevans there does look quite a bit of room to get some epoxy in there mind you I removed nearly all the hot glue from mine when I got them, I would try some epoxy usually I use Araldite rapid and have had some success on istick 20's using that.

Heyas Evan might I suggest millput. And then epoxy. MillIput will stick like the proverbial to said blanket and set like concrete. Then some epoxy round the edge, that will make it rock solid. www.milliput.comEasy to get on eBay Amazon etc.

If you want to go to the trouble of changing it you can just about get one of these in. Or you could def replace it with this.

Now there's a thing igual , I've just bought some "milliput"! I don't think I'll be going down that route @windows , If the epoxy fails, it's a scrapper. Thank you very much yourgurnard , that was a very generous offer! I think I'll be looking for advice for a new "Mod". Similar size, but with a more robust construction. Jim

Jim You could get another Clouper if that's your bag and apply the milliput / epoxy from the off to prevent it happening again.
