I made the wick a bit longer, so that it goes down the sides of the stardust. it works really well, great vape and flavour, if I only have one or two draws. I just can't vape more than a couple of times in a row with out getting that burning taste. But because I like to have a few draws one after the other, it is almost useless to me.

Actually, I think I'm lying. I did do a dry burn when I checked that it lit up when I first put the insides together, before I put the outer shell on.

I can't tell what that wire is as there is no spec..Probably 0.16 nichrome which is fine.
Check the resistance with a DMM..If it is too low ie., less than 2 ohms it may be burning too hot and the wick cannot wick fast enough.
Empty the juice and take the mouthpiece off and use a pair of tweezers to take the silicone cap off and look down the hole in good light and see if the wick is charred which it most probably is. See if you can make out if the windings are touching each other. You may be able to gently prise them apart with a jewellers screwdriver.
Best thing to do is make another wick and coil and try it with 5 turns instead of 4.

Hi all, Ok then, so I re disassembled my stardust. Re done the wick and coil. This time, I made sure non of the turns were touching each other. I also made the turns quite tight this time. And I did an extra turn on the coil, to make 5 in total. I then re assembled everything. It is now working perfect. Thanks for your help guys.
